Haiku got a reaction from Matt in Jordan Pickford
    I've seen
This. GK learning curve is a lot longer than regular outfield players. Generally speaking they peak after the age of 28, and many even after 30. Very few are considered world class at younger age like Alisson, Ederson and Oblak, but still all of them are a bit older and are playing at top clubs with superior defenders in front of them. Surely one makes less mistakes when fewer chances are presented to him. I'm pleased with Jordan. His shot stopping is one of the best, which shows his raw talent. He lacks in distribution and command of area, but these improve with experience and maturing. In couple of years we will see him getting at higher standards, even more so if we manage to improve the rest of the team. As of now, he's doing just fine. There are many other things to worry about really. Looking for a new first choice goalkeeper shouldn't be in our priorities in the foreseeable future.

Changing peoples lives? Doesn't get much better than that mate.
Wife being disabled (as you know) the majority of my "social life" is cyber based and the site I spend more time on than any (TT apart) is the Macmillan Cancer online community; spending time talking to people who are going through what I did. It's really rewarding and does leave me in tears quite often. Been honoured to be labelled a "community champion" (responsible with one other in the "head and neck" group) for probably five years now so theoretically could go to Macmillan HQ in London every three months for a meet-up and lunch but not yet been able to make one.
Happens often but today we had a "newbie" in total panic earlier who we've (not just me obviously) talked down over the day; so nice.
Not meaning to blow my own trumpet but making other people's lives better/easier, which is plainly what you've done, is a great gift to give. I hope life rewards you in turn.

This basically. The game changed, yet many clubs have spending power and can offer ridiculous salary to players. That said, top clubs are now attractive to world class players only, who can slot in and play at the highest level. Richarlison is not a world class, nowhere near yet. Since money are not a problem for us anymore, why would he want to leave? His spot is more or less guaranteed here and we can easily double his wages after a year or so if he continues to improve.

Fuck off. The least this lad deserves after all he's been through is just a little bit of appretiation! For the limited time he's been on the pitch, he got us some pretty important points. For those keep bashing him he's not good enough, yeah tell me something I don't know. And how the fuck you judged his contribution for 5 fucking minutes yesterday in a moment when the whole team had a mental fart!? Sick of reading this kind of bullshit. Sorry for double post.

Pretty sure if Ancelotti didn't made any changes and they still equalized, the same people on here would blame him for not doing so.

We need a brand new pair of central midfielders BADLY! Even if Gomes and Gbamin come good once fit, we need more options, because those we have right now are not good enough for backup. I would keep Davies as a fifth option only because he's homegrown and still young. As soon as Delph, Sig and Morgan leave the better.

Stupid kids. Think that signing for the biggest club is the real deal, only to be sold to mediocre side a few loans later.

I don't believe finances play any part in his decision. He's under a contract and it's an agreement between the two clubs how his wages will be paid out, but at the end he will get what's in his contract, no more no less. Thinking about it, he's not going to set the Championship on fire. He's free in 5 months time, I believe he's happy to see out his contract while keeping himself in shape using our better facilities without the risk getting an injury, so that when he leaves in the summer a few clubs will approach him on trial and someone will sign him eventually. Smart decision.

He was treated badly. Obviously not good enough, but has scored some pretty important goals. I would pick him right after DCL and Richarlison. He has more to offer than Tosun, because of his superior physicality and couldn't be worse than Kean, who still has to adapt to the league.
Is he one of the worst signings? - Considering the fee we paid for him and how the management treated him, then Yes. But again, Tosun cost us more and delivered less.
Is he one of the worst Everton players? - Definitely not.

We are massively lacking quality in centre midfield and that's the main difference between us and City. Unfortunately we don't have many options (if any) to change that.  With Gomes and Gbamin this could be a whole different picture, but It is what it is.

Didn’t mean it to be a downer boys n girls. Just thought I’d throw it in. After 00:00 the world is a different place. It’s amazing if you stop to think for a minute that we are all over the world. We all have our own things going on. Troubles, happiness. We fall out on this website from time to time. We don’t know each other but the thing that bonds us is the blues. We are a family.  Whatever this club is the one thing I know for sure is we are a family. Love everyone on here and wish your loved ones all the happiness that 2020 can bring.

I'm not a fan of Rashford either and can not understand the hype around him. Sure, he's fine, but nothing spectacular. Can't see him getting any better than Harry Kane, although the two are very different type of players.

29, poor injury record, already slow, massive salary. Real are trying to get rid of him for so long. 2 year loan at Bayern and they sent him back. Only was good on the WC 2014 and the following season with Real. Not thrilled at all with this one.

For me, our priority should be a central defender. We currently have only 3 which is a worry. Keane is not good enough, Holgate shows potential, but I would like someone more established to take the place alongside Mina. Next in line should be a central midfielder. Unfortunately with the injuries of Gomes and Gbamin we're cut short in that area until the end of the season. That should be enough for now. We rather not sign too many new faces, unless we shift some of the dead wood, but that's unlikely to happen.

Haiku got a reaction from Sibdane in Djibril Sidibé
I must agree Sidibe is not very solid as a defender, but he's immense going forward. His crossing ability is one of the best in our squad and today he proved that he's very creative outlet out wide. While his chemistry with Walcott wasn't great he made some very exiting passes going through a bunch of Newcastle players into space behind them, only if Walcott could read his intentions quicker. Perhaps he'll be more successful as a so-called wing back in a formation with 3 defenders where he'll get more help from our defenders, as seen against Burnley with Coleman at his back. Definitely want him to stay at Everton.

He's way too static and his reactions are very slow. One can clearly see the difference between him and Holgate. The latter chases and challenges for the ball all the time, while Keane never do so if the ball isn't within 2 meter radius of his presence. A few header clearances made up for his overall poor display and thank God we were lucky to not suffer from his torpid display once again.
