Palfy reacted to Wiggytop in Fabian Delph
If he was able to play regularly, big problem is he can’t and it’s not possible to build a successful team when you have to keep chopping and changing ( see our back 4 for proof).
Im really happy with what he has done for us over the past few games, but we need to find a younger player who brings similar skills. I’d only consider a pay if he plays deal if he is used a a back up to cover injury etc,( which seems ironic given his injury history here 😱)

Next 3 games a win and 2 draws should settle it. Then dare to dream that we have a young manager who will take us further, and an upcoming star - Myko and Jordan stays. Add in Gordon, Branthwaite and Simms. Could be the turning point we've wanted for years.

Sorry you’ve not got them this season lads, hang in there it will happen, and you can come and enjoy the highs and lows of having a ST. Gravy Chops came in during my first season, I really was in two minds about renewing if he was to stay, it was awful stuff to watch, and while most of this season been piss poor, MU and Chelsea were tense but fantastic games to be at and I’ve never had those thoughts.

But isn’t that a good thing, never a boring day and all that stuff 😜

Maybe I did forget old timers is starting to fog my memory, that’s a medical condition that shouldn’t be taken the piss out of, and I feel this is a good get out clause I shall be using it more and more in future😂

Palfy got a reaction from Hafnia in Man of the Match at Leicester
I always championed him even in the days when it may have looked foolish to do so, but he isn’t the first and won’t be the last Everton player to be roundly set up on and then come good, what was said of him in the past is surely water under the bridge now, and the fact now that nearly everyone on here completely backs him is a testament to him and his form, and how people are prepared to change their minds and not get to in trenched in their first view’s. Unless of course TT have made a law stating you cannot change your views in the future.

Our keeper has two games where is truly world class and we find a way to argue about it. I love and hate TT in equal measure sometimes. 😂

I’d rather he stay until the stadium is finished, purely to make sure it’s completed. I’d hate to see him sell up to someone who doesn’t see it through.
He needs to stay out of footballing matter though. Hopefully Lampard and Thelwell have some reassurance of this.

Squeeze what drops we can out of him the last few games and then wave him off into the sunset.
’cheers Delph mate bye’.

I hope we’re safe with a win at home to Brentford or Palace so to attention can turn to the boardroom.
Im surprised it’s taken him this long though. We beat United and Chelsea and he managed to keep his mouth shut.
The only thing I want to hear next from Bill Kenwright is news of his retirement.

Palfy got a reaction from Heath in Frank Lampard
I agree with the sentiment and emotion of your post passion is 50% of what’s required and the rest ability, I wanted Frank at the beginning of the season I was the only one to mention him and got some stick for doing so, possibly by those who now champion him who knows can’t be arsed to look. Then end of January when he got the job I was against him getting it based on the timing, I didn’t and still don’t think he had the experience to take the job on whilst we were in such dire straits. I’ve support and followed Everton for 56 years and this season has been the worse football I’ve witnessed from an Everton team in my memory, at the moment every point is huge and the style of how it’s won is immaterial we just need results, but by god I’m far from happy at the way we are playing but I just want to get to the end of the season with our PL status in tact, then Lampard can have a clean slate and fresh start to next season and hopefully he proves me right that he should have got the job at the beginning of the season, but that doesn’t mean that I should never have raised my concerns that he wasn’t the right man and out of his depth for a relegation battle.

Proving to be a very astute signing and if Patterson fulfils his potential the full back positions could be sorted for years to come

I did always wonder if you were really James Rodriguez, now I’m certain! 😂

To many players required before we see a good season, and with FFP rules we won’t be seeing big spending next season, so let’s not get to excited about next season and put unrealistic expectations on Frank.

It's a bit like the start of last season, won the first four games when I was in hospital, wheels came off when I came home. Josh told me to get admitted again😂

Yeah very true maybe some of the failed Chelsea bidders might go you know what Everton are giant in the making.

Palfy reacted to Romey 1878 in Frank Lampard
I just couldn't get behind him, Haf. However, I wasn't willing him to fail either, it's not in me to go against Everton.
I would love nothing more than for Lampard to succeed here though, I'm definitely all in on him. Like I've said many times, he's not someone that would've ever occurred to me to be our next manager but there's just something about him that resonates with me. He's fully embraced this club and it's fans. He's very honest in his assessments of situations and I personally love that - if something's good, say so, and if it's shite then say that as well. Call a spade a spade in essence.
I don't even give a shit if he sees us as a stepping stone to another top job, because he's only going to get that if he does something brilliant with us. So if that happens then he'll go with my best wishes as he'll be leaving us in a far better place than when he arrived.
But, I just love the way he's embraced us. I think the level of passion that we the fans have has truly shocked him, and has made him want to do well here.

Palfy got a reaction from Heath in Moise Kean
Not sure mate, if Juve are looking to negotiate on the original deal I would say he never met the requirements for that deal to automatically go through, and unless we agree to a much lower fee he comes back or we just release him on a free, I don’t think Kean fiasco is over yet.

Palfy reacted to Wiggytop in Frank Lampard
Whatever happens and wherever we end up next season, Frank needs to give Bill and Farhad a simple message, stay out of player recruitment and leave it up to the staff you pay good ones for, to make those decisions, look where sticking your nose in has got the club.
