I don't think this is anything to do with Kavanagh,he did not even give a foul,  its 100% Pawson.

That twat pawson again, this time in VAR, he would not send the shits C/B off, but once again got involved to send our player off, we should seriously complain to the P/L about him being involved in any of our games.

Need a win from the boys today.
Have a funeral this afternoon for my 30 year old niece, and on the way found out my Auntie is being taken to the hospice as she is end of life.
2023 can just F off and 24 has started just as bad.
I need our boys to come through and give me a little hope for the coming year.

My overriding feeling upon waking up this morning is just being totally gutted, rather than angry or anything like that, because it just feels like such a missed opportunity and just compounds the sentiment that we're destined never to win the League Cup!
The players were absolutely goosed, didn't play well, but we were still the better side. Concede a sloppy goal but equalise just before the end, which should have given us the advantage going in to the penalties. We then won the toss to decide which end for the shoot-out, then we also won the toss to get to go first. It was all in our favour and then we blew it.
Onana's penalty was diabolical, it really was, but we win and lose as a team. I'm sure the players and management will be getting round him to stop him getting too down and it impacting future, but he'll know himself he messed up and he seems the type of player that will want to make amends. His actions at the end of the game certainly suggest that.
As our manager would say, it's time to park this one and move on to Saturday.

You had to search for "Everton" to find an Everton match?!?
Why do they make things so bloody complicated?

I really can't see much point in getting disheartened by Beto just yet. He really has only had limited minutes in a new team, new league and new country all very stop start for him. However, I would much rather him being in this squad as the back up striker over Maupy. Like all strikers a goal or two does your game wonders, and in the grand scheme of things he has had limited opertunities to bag them.
Great to see McNeil get on the score sheet and in with a couple of great chances. Again, a few have been critical of his offensive play thus far, lets see what a goal now does for his confidence in the final third. You could see how much he enjoyed that.
Not our best performance of the season, but another clean sheet and another 3 points. Points on the board single most important thing at the moment.
I was a important win after the 3-0 home defeat to Man U,  it really helps keep that positive momentum around the squad.

To be honest i would not put put Digne anywhere near the level Bains played at, thought he was very average and we did well to get our money back. IMO

2 points, this obsession with young has to stop, and keeping him on for 20 mins after the penalty is beyond belief.
2np point MacNeil needs to show some bottle and work ethic, he has back to player he was under Lampard.
Very disappointed huge step backwards against the weakest man utd we have faced for a long time.
We played the occasion not the team in front of us.

Some people seem to get way too excited when we lose or win
United are still a very good side and I thought the scoreline more than flattered them. We were by far the better side first half
Overall we had more possession, more than twice as many shots, had two off the line and Myko hit the bar so I personally thought we were unlucky not to get something from the game
Obviously Dyche is not above  criticism and it does baffle me why he sticks with Young but he must see something in training that makes him not trust Patterson
So like all managers he does have his faults but I still think he is doing a very good job under extreme circumstances and I honestly can’t think of anyone I would replace him with at the moment

Imo the only team who finished below us who might have a leg to stand on for compensation maybe Leicester due to stopping them potentially getting another 2 points against us, but the fact that we weren’t found guilty in January, February or March and docked 10 points then is hardly our fault we never set the time agenda, so shouldn’t any claims that are found in favour of the claimant be settled by the PL.  Even if we never took the ability of Southampton losing out on 5 points, and Leeds 6 points they would have both finished below Leicester even if we had been docked 10 points that season, so how we impeded and caused Southampton and Leeds to lose their place in the PL is rubbish.

I'd love to see them investigated too if I'm honest, for corruption at the very least or incompetence.
If at the end of the year its clear there's a breach, just put a transfer ban in place for the next window(s). Doing things retroactively is causing mayhem.

While i agree with what you have said, how was a fine ok for Leicester in 2018 for doing exactly as we have done.are the teams that finished second and third that year going to sue them, and a fine was ok for the 6 clubs who tried to destroy the premier league, double standards or what.

There seems to be a significant bacllash againt the magnitude of the punishment that Everton have been handed out, from what I have listen to and read the shock is pretty much universal accross the footballing media and beyond. I don't think i have heard any anybody say its fair and reasonable. You would hope that this is sinking in with those who may be reviewing any appeal.
It not just people with Everton tinted glasses that are gobsmacked by this.

Anyway, like many of you, I can't remember the last time I had this much fire in my belly for the club. Its proper galvanised me and I only wish it was easy to get tickets!!!
Goodison Park is going to be the most hostile stadium in PL history. That fund for banners etc has raised £27k...we know our lot won't hold back.
You won't be able to hear the PL anthem. I feel for any PL officials that step foot into Goodison.
The PL have revealed themselves as a bunch of incompetent snakes. And the world will see it.
We've basically been punished for building a new stadium. That same stadium, which will be phenomenal, will be used by the PL to promote the 'greatness' of the league...we should tell them to fuck off and not use anything of ours to promote theirs (I know that's not how the real world works, but still...)
What's worse, is the club has communicated and played inline with several PL demands (wages, transfers etc), and been punished for relevant transparency. Yet the likes of City and Chelsea continue to be evasive...
All you guys who go every week...give it to em proper 👊🏼

City have avoided this for over 10 years, simply because they have an army of legal experts to block any case brought against them. in other words money, the very thing this whole issue is about, Chelsea the same. But the irony is completely lost on the tossers that run this shit show. We had the so called big 6 trying break the premier league  up for a super league, they get a small fine, no points deducted,  this corruption has to be halted in its tracks.
