Sibdane reacted to StatesideToffee14 in Trump all over again
You should also read about her husband too. He's a state house rep here (though luckily not mine) and is just about as bad as her. In particular, his "excuse" for having a Three-Percenters decal on his truck was unbelievable.

Had to google three-percenters, what a lovely bunch. Some people are so consumed with hatred I wonder how they sleep at night.

My first 10-pointer of the season. Hooray.

Sibdane reacted to Cornish Steve in Trump all over again
Marjorie Taylor Greene represents the district in Georgia where I live, and she's a complete disgrace. I'm so embarrassed that residents in this area vote for her overwhelmingly time and again. Her campaign literature is dark, sinister, and paints the US as now being a communist dictatorship, and people believe this nonsense.

Sweden officially joins Nato. I wonder if they will send their S tanks etc to support.

They're just defending themselves though 👍.
Fuck everyone allowing this to happen or anyone in agreement with the massacre of a people. Fucking monsters.

Sibdane got a reaction from Matt in Ross Barkley
I'd take Barkley now, because we need all the help we can get. Here's what's sad though: when we had ambitions of Europe I wouldn't have taken him; times change, however.
He's been great at Luton, but let's not forget he's a confidence player. His confidence is at an all-time time high, because he is their best player this season, and it's also a testament to his career so far.
He might be able to walk into our squad, but that's such a low expectation.

While I think Koeman should have gone about it in a different way (keep it in-house, rather than saying it in press conferences) bullying is a bit strong. He wanted Ross to work harder and show his ability more often etc, and everything he was saying was what we the fans had been saying as well.
The "bullying" didn't result in us getting less for him, Ross' decision (with his agent) to renege on the agreed deal made us get less money for him.
I wish he'd stayed here, I really do, and felt it was best for his career if he did as well but don't absolve the lad of any blame because you like him and put it all on Koeman because you didn't like him. He can make his own decisions and he could have stayed knowing that he was likely to outlast a manager, or he could have not fucked the club over to get back at Koeman even though he wouldn't have give a shit.

We have been watching different games then.
In fact I would go as far as to say DCL probably committed the worse miss of the season full stop, was it City at home where he was unmarked inside the six yard box and somehow manage to hook a half volley over the bar?
The other night he had two headers inside the six yard box and never managed to get either on target
Yes DCL is comfortably our best striker but you are trying to make out he is clinical in front of goal when the reality is he is far from it
DCL is a good all round striker and there is a lot to his game but his finishing is his weakest element

I think 6 points is still a fairly harsh punishment overall. Saving grace is that we got the penalty this year and not last season. So thank fuck the club didn't allow the PL to fast tracked this charge last season. Otherwise we would have been playing championship football.
We have a dozon games to go, and another charge against us to come. Everton will have a very good idea now of what the new charge looks like and how its calculated, they will know the details the accounts submitted, and they also know what the penalty points wise will be. For arguments sake lets say ther club could be confident it could be another 6 points.
Club has to play out the remainer of this season on the assumption of another 6 point deduction (or whatever Everton calculate the deduction will be) is coming. We need to play to be 6 points above what 18th place team is going to be.
Based on todays announcment Dyche should have a very good idea of what this goal should be.

Sibdane reacted to StevO in Blue Bill's shiny new stadium at the docks...
For those interested, the concrete “bowl” inside the stadium was completed yesterday afternoon.
A really cool photo was posted by the club on Twitter, here…

Beto: I think he has more than being credited for. Very rough around the edges. Like DCL, is left fighting for scraps with crosses and passes that go all over in the final 3rd. I like him.
Chimitti: Absolutely no idea.
Harrison: He's done good. On a shite run in line with the team just now. But isn't he up at the top 3 or so for goals and assists? He's certainly chipped in his worth.
Danjuma: Looks a threat. The problem is he's a greedy selfish cunt. I wouldn't play him.
Young: Thought he was a good signing to fill in. Problem is he's filled in too often and in positions he looks awful and has let us down. Defo Weakened Dyches credibility.
I think the signings we've made are reflective of the market we're in. We'll have to get used to it I'm afraid.

Sibdane reacted to Wiggytop in Sean Dyche
Ok here’s my take so far from seeing every home game bar Spurs this season
Beto, rough around the edges, not a like for like with DCL, needs to learn how to hold the ball up and bring others into play, can’t fault his enthusiasm.
Chimitti, or Chermiti, not seen enough on him as expected, not sure why we paid the money on him when we have Dobbin and had Simms and Cannon, Cannon seemed the more likely to succeed.
Young, bought as cover, not happy he’s played so much, hasn’t brought the experience he should have shown, if anything he’s like a headless chicken
Harrison, my bright hope, blows hot and cold, I do like his pressing and energy, would like to see him replicate his first season with Leeds in the PL goal wise, his assists are OK
Danjuma shows potential but doesn’t know how to be a team player, needs to get his head up and find others in better positions.

Sibdane reacted to Btay in Jack Harrison
He’s a likeable player, always puts in a shift. To be honest though, I thought there was a bit more of him when we signed him. I think he can play a lot better than what he has for the most part of the season.

Sibdane reacted to duncanmckenzieismagic in Beto
I also think DCL is our best striker just don’t agree that we should stop using Beto and for the record DCL has also been guilty of missing quite a few sitters of late

The insurance policy is that if we get a deduction then Forest should too, which (all being equal) will keep them behind us along with Sheff U and Burnley, and probably Luton.

These guys are literally just running around and kicking a ball on a field. It's really not that serious at the end of day. I'll never understand the people who take it to a next level of hate.

Sibdane reacted to Newty82 in Longest Thread! for Everton Discussion
No, honestly, I get you.
I get the point 🙏. And it's valid.
BUT...its all hindsight. At the moment.
In my opinion, Beto isn't as bad as some think. We, as Evertonians, tend to be very quick to write players off.
Beto, like any player...and we've plenty of evidence of this...needs proper consistent game time.
So, again, we could have not bothered buying any striker because our price range means whoever we get would be a gamble. That's the realistic market we're in.
Which means, we still would rely on DCL either way.
It's the sort of catch 22 we'll find ourselves in again and again.
End note...I'm not sure Chamatti was a good idea. I wasn't sure about that one at the time. Didn't seem to make sense.
