markjazzbassist
Good for him, class player on his day can pick a pass like no other but injured too much. Besic already taking the mantle from him. Matt

Sideliner
He only contributed 28 min in 2013/14 season , 416min in 2014/15 season and 42 min this season in the PL - At his wages he must be the highest paid player per minute on the pitch in the entire PL - Time to get on someone els's back i would say to the oldest promising player in Everton - Feel sorry for the man but we are not a charity organization

Hafnia
Good luck to him. I think he is a very lucky boy as it is... a multi millionaire who hasn't played a lot of football due to injurues - not his fault however I do think as a professional he needs to look at himself. Very good player when fit and on his game.

Romey 1878
Sad really because he does have the ability, just not the body to back it up. At least we didn't pay a lot for him. Lowensda

duncanmckenzieismagic
Yeah, having an experienced physio is a must. I was thinking he needs to go somewhere in the Far East were alcohol is banned, and preferably no cyclists around Matt, Romey 1878 and Sideliner
Sideliner
We just can not afford to carry him any further - Martinez says our squad is too big - start here - then Osman then Hibbert

Mogsy
Just signed a two year extension!! I mean really??? How can they offer him an extension without a manager in place? Edited June 9, 2016 by mogsy
Matt
Ffs.... Better be appearance based Edited June 9, 2016 by Matt
Romey 1878
Erm, ok then. Any chance we can sort out the important thing of our new manager now?
Lowensda
Wow. That's ridiculous. Doesn't ever play. Costs us money. Drives drunk and is a danger to the public. He gets a contract extension? See, Everton can all be promise and bright lights, they have to bring you down with a bump by handing a contract to a complete waster. duncanmckenzieismagic
Can't see the rationale behind it, he is stealing a wage and more importantly I would rather see Tom Davies given a go markjazzbassist and Steve_E

Shukes
McGeady is on the way to Goodison to secure a number pay rise....to go along with his new five year contract.

Lowensda
Haha saw a comment on the official feed from someone who suggested he's spent more time in court, than he has on the pitch probably more accurate than the humour suggests. MC11
Would indicate that the new manager has discussed this. Obviously it's with Koemans blessing. Chach

Sherpa
Also shocked by this !!...Always plays well when fit, but he rarely is. Maybe it's a pay as you play deal??? His contract was up later this year...it may also be a way of securing a small fee when he goes.
Paddock
Makes me think that they have run this past Koeman first. Surely they would have wouldn't they? Another example of us being knobheads.
Matt
Would indicate that the new manager has discussed this. Obviously it's with Koemans blessing.i guess so, but like I've and others have said, it better be PAYP. If it's not appearance based, I'll fume. He's a very good player IF he's fit/not in court
