The second goal came because the ref didn't deal with what was going on at the other aide of the pitch. Lukaku had a stone wall penalty. Think Barkley looks off the pace today, a second too slow to react. Mirallas hasnt done enough imo either. Leaving Kolarov get forward and not doing much going forward for us. We look decent going forward but way too many loose touches. Against this caliber of opposition we need to do a better job of keeping the ball when we have it. If we don't sort our defending out and stop giving the ball away cheaply I wouldn't be surprised to be on the end of a heavy loss. Naismith has played well, as has everyone else in patches. Mirallas needs to pass earlier, McCarthy playing well. Just need to stay calm and pass a bit quicker. I'd keep naisy on, he looks a lot more threatening than Mirallas. The only problem with Gerard is City have very offensive fullbacks; is he strong enough defensively? They would have all been in the face of the ref and negredo for squaring up to Coleman....
