markiediow Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 Is there any good free transfers still not signed up we should take a chance on? I would give Nilmar a go. Don't know who else is available. Quote
Ten Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 I don't particularly rate him as high as his CV suggest but Valdes is still available. Be great back-up to Howard. Would kick him up the arse and could give him a break in Europe. Jonas (Striker/AM) is still available, pulled out of his contract with Valenicia due to non-national quota (?). ANother good striker for Europe. Quote
c1982 Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 I think Valdes is going to that 'orrible red lot. Quote
chicagoblue Posted September 3, 2014 Report Posted September 3, 2014 One of the rags usually has a list of these that they try to make hay with. Don't see us signing anyone else, but happy to chat it out. Quote

marcopaulo Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 it'd be cool to have eto'o and ronaldinho in the same team Quote

Would be tempted by Nilmar as well on low wages, loved him at Villareal a few years ago. Quote
markjazzbassist Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Yobo looked good at the world cup, and i'd take jonas too. that should give us the cover and depth we need. Quote
Hafnia Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Yobo looked good at the world cup, and i'd take jonas too. that should give us the cover and depth we need. I don't think I could handle Yobo... I would sooner play Besic as a centre half. Quote
Romey 1878 Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Yobo's brainfarts are on a whole different level to Jagielka's. Tying your bootlace in your own area while the opposition are attacking... Quote

Yobo looked half asleep most of the time, pity he was a tremendous athlete. Quote
MC11 Posted September 4, 2014 Report Posted September 4, 2014 Carlton away. Couldn't believe it! Quote

The ball flew right past him while he was tying his bootlace and into the net. Quote

He doesn't have anything major wrong with his game, it's lots of little things with him that drive me up the wall. Great servant to the club though. Quote
