Matt Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Annoyed to say, T-How. Training game, but would've been much worse were it not for Tim Quote
MikeO Posted September 18, 2014 Author Report Posted September 18, 2014 Unusual for a 'keeper to get MOTM in a 4-1 win; but I'm sure I won't be the only one voting for Tim. Great display. Quote
Steve_E Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Tim Howard. Though I don't think he's needed to have as brilliant a game as the amount of shots on target they have had may make it look like. Quote
MikeO Posted September 18, 2014 Author Report Posted September 18, 2014 Annoyed to say, T-How. Training game, but would've been much worse were it not for Tim You voted before he conceded Matt, so that make their goal your fault :shaking fist:. Quote
Ten Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Tim Howard for me too. Saved about 3/4 certain goals. Quote
markjazzbassist Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Tim Howard. Thought Baines did really well too, he had assists on the first 2 goals and did well defending and attacking. Quote
Bailey Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 I have sided with Baines. Thought he was excellent first half and had 2 assists and a goal. Howard did well tonight but he only really made one or two saves that I wouldnt have expected him to, which is one or two too many for my liking but even so. markjazzbassist 1 Quote
c1982 Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 McCarthy - back to his best after a few 'shaky' moments this season. Howard made some great saves and is a close 2nd for me. Quote
Newty82 Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 T'How stood out tonight. Pleased for him, as he had been called into question a few times this season. Quote
Paddock Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Thought Stones had a good game today so I'm going with him. Quote
Cornish Steve Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 This will be a landslide: Tim Howard. Quote
JoeQuince Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Baines' two assists were class. If it weren't for him, this wouldn't have ended so much in our favor. Howard is a close 2nd though. His positioning was perfect today. Quote
duncanmckenzieismagic Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Baines just ahead of Mirallas and Howard for me Quote
Gwlad Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Tim for me, but for his saves they would've been back in it Quote
thoward18 Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Baines. He was a monster. As good as Howard was, the bulk of the workload was when Everton had a commanding lead. Baines got us that far the begin with. Quote
foobiezw Posted September 18, 2014 Report Posted September 18, 2014 Agree with above. Baines probably just pips it. Credit to Howard though, could've been a lot worse without him tonight. Quote
bluenosetoffee Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 If it wasn't for Howard we would have conceded more than 1 goal. Could do nothing about the free kick though. McCarthy second for me, ran the show yesterday and put in some important slide tackles. Quote
drs08 Posted September 19, 2014 Report Posted September 19, 2014 (edited) Muslim Beard da TMan for me, kept us in it, a few were standard saves, a few were world class, excellent, mature, high class keeping from him! But I must say the way Naismith trapped & spun around to start the move for our first goal was truly World class (IMO), if that'd been Eto'o we would all be saying you can tell he's won everything under the sun, + he got back on the end of it to score, AWESOME!!! Stevie N really REALLY has turned himself into a phenomenal player for us and to think it was all about Jelly at 1 point, only football eh!!! Happy Friday fellow Bluenoses COYBhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T_s8F-YEx3c On 33 seconds, traps n spins (take out the defender behind him), finds the pass, starts the move proper, excellent technique that for me!!! AND gets on the end of it!!! Edited September 19, 2014 by drs08 Quote
