COYB 5 changes, mori robles gerry lennon osman. all solid, osman the most suspect might be rusty and old and slow. others are very solid though, i love that we are going for it. COYB It's a strong group of players for sure, I just hope they can adapt to the system. Very attacking on paper, a back three with only one holding mid instead of our normal four and two, unless Ossie is playing deep (not his best position). It's a good mix of hardworking, crafty players and players with the skill to make anything they want happen. Degsy Mountfield was still with us and, for a short time, Howard Kendall tried a back three of Ratcliffe, Mountfield and Watson. They were all great players but the system just didn't suit us. Lets hope, thirty years on, the outcome is better. I think with the personnel we have, it might work. It does place a lot of responsibility on wing backs, Lennon and Del boy but I think they will be up for it.
