JoeQuince
Coleman was running with him, why? Because we have no defensive organization. We don't need both Stones and Funes Mori to be standing there with Kane.
Mogsy
Why can't we play like Spurs, we have the players!! There tempo is 'phenomenal'
mcirony
Spurs aren't letting us pass out from the back and we have no plan B. It just ends up with Funes Mori who doesn't have the distribution. Need a new plan as we are being bossed.

To be fair Coleman has put in 2 great clearances in that first half, Edited January 3, 2016 by milesey05
MikeO
On the bright side we're very lucky to be level after that, had the goals come the other way round we'd be delighted. Forty-five minute team us so expect a transformation second half.
adziom
I think the back four were doing a better job today up until that goal which was totally soft from our point of view. Midfield and attack getting battled out of the game overall. Cleverley and Lennon are getting bullied a bit.
johnh
Tiki taki passing not working today Tiki taki doesn't work if the opposition are in your face all the time. This is why all our passes are backwards and occasionally sideways. On the other hand, we are just standing off (almost parking the bus) when they have possession. We have to be more direct in the second-half just like we were when we scored.

Guest rusty747
Cant blame that on Coleman. Centre Backs should have dealt with the long ball over the top into the heart of our defence. What else is their primary purpose Roberto?
Mogsy
Seriously Martinez is managing us just like big Brenda was with Liverpool, no idea how to change the play
JoeQuince
To be fair Coleman has put in 2 great clearances in that first half, He did well. I'm not criticizing Coleman. I'm criticizing the defensive issue we have where our fullbacks are defending the space our CBs should be defending.
Elston Gunnn
On replay of their late goal, it looked as if Stones was asleep, woke up as ball in air. Again, can't close out, this time a lead at half.
Shukes
He did well. I'm not criticizing Coleman. Poor defensive play, real poor.

Barkley said before the game they have been working on defending in training!!!!!! Not enough I would say.
JoeQuince
It was a great finish also. Barkley said before the game they have been working on defending in training!!!!!! Not enough I would say. Maybe they've been doing individual drills. But, as a team, we are defending like shit. Nobody is organized.
Newty82
Fines Mori worried me that first half. Poor. Nothing really too surprising from us. Expected a more cautious approach.
