Maybe we’d have played a different system - maybe not a direct replacement for Gueye but Gbamin and Delph were clearly bought to strengthen that area in Gueye’s absence. It’s impossible to say what Gbamin we signed because, realistically, he’s not going to be the £25m player we signed.
