It isn't that easy is it?

Southampton were the better side over both games last season. Leeds are a hard team to beat and Brighton are no mugs either and will create chances.

Burnley are always tough nuts to crack and Villa were also the better team against us last season.

If we do come out on top of the league after those early games, the new man will have done a really good job!

And If we don’t come out on top in them games what easier games are left to come out top on, or does it mean another season 10th or below, for me I see it as one of the easiest starts we’ve had for a while, I would be looking for 12-14 points in the first 6 games.

At the end of last season plenty were saying Carlo needs more time so a new manager into the club and potentially league is certainly going to need a bit of leeway to get his feet under the table.

I expect those sides to have largely stable summers and that will give them an advantage. I am not saying I expect us to lose but I also don't see us coming out of the blocks firing either and hopefully the easier games will come when we are fully used to the new managers tactics and players whoever the opposition might be.
