How to make friends and influence people from Steven Naismith! He clatters Lucas late and high, it's a nasty challenge but he escapes a booking.
That was cheered in the blue half of Merseyside...

Just watching some of his early work rate and link up, making me really miss him. Can't remember ever being this disappointed that a player has left :(

I'm not devastated. I'm mostly just happy for Naisy, going somewhere that will suit his style and give him plenty of opportunities. I'll miss him more for the example he set with his work rate and mindset than for his skill set.

Yeah. He deserves to be more than a super sub somewhere. I'll miss having him to come off the bench and impose himself on a game. But, he was never going to be a starter for us, going forward.

He's gonna get loads of goals at Norwich. Happy for him.

Hope he is replaced, the plan was always to end each transfer window with better squad than the start of the window. Naismith gonna be a big miss and I can see us ending this window weaker.

word is he is gonna be released in the summer by norwich to get his 50k a week wages off their books. i could see him heading back to Rangers.

They've already revealed their released list (John Ruddy is on it) and he's not on it, so unless they're going to add him to it then word is wrong.

Won’t lie I didn’t want him and thought he was shit but boy did he prove me wrong.  Class through and through and that Chelsea hat trick I won’t forget.

One of the few matches I could get to back then! Lucky to have seen it, the perfect hattrick.

Love this bloke. A credit to any team he's played for and an absolute gentleman. Won't ever forget about his kindness towards others. We were lucky to have him here.

Not sure what his post retirement plans are, but could he be a good fit to work for Everton in the Community? If he's truly passionate about philanthropy, I would love to enable him to do so through our club. The work any club does in the community would be amplified if they had an ex-player involved on a day to day level, as it would probably garner more attention from fans and the media.
