Ah I'm so sorry to hear this,I really liked @Bill and loved his frank and straight views, proper toffee. RIP Bill and my condolences @patto to you and the family. X 

In retrospect, the name 'patto' is a bit of a give-away - if only we'd thought of it.

Echo all the sentiment above - Bill was and always will be a huge part of ToffeeTalk. I remember him as one of the mods when I first joined and had his own forum on standby whenever ToffeeTalk needed a few more pennies to keep the lights on - it was often ‘down’ and Bill’s forum filled the void. As above, I didn’t always share Bill’s views on Everton but he was clearly a huge Evertonian.

Sad news to hear of Bills passing, condolences to his family. A true blue RIP 

Known him on TT for the best part of two decades, I disagreed with him pretty much for two decades. I know I had a lot of respect for him and he will be missed by a lot of people here on TT  
Bill made as big a contribution to this place as anyone over the years. He’s a major part of what TT is today and for that I’m grateful.
