Mina or one of the other central defenders should have been subbed at this point for another striker. We had so much space in that area that Yerry Mina was almost playing as a CDM, mental. How Gana stayed on for the whole game was beyond me as well.

Like many, I really wanted Frank to succeed - I obviously want that from every EFC manager but can’t actually show too much bitterness towards Lampard. He’s completely out of his depth and this team is probably the softest of the lot but I still don’t feel any malice towards him.
I just hope, whoever it is, is a Thelwell choice and we actually start connecting our thinking with a clear identity - Brighton are the model to follow - they’ve lost Ashworth and got better, they’ve lost Potter and got better - continuity and clear strategy.

Do you honestly think having another manager with these same players, will change anything?
Were running out of managers to get these players working to be honest.
Carlo Ancelotti is one of the most respected managers ever. He had to walk as he simply knew there was nothing he could do with this team. Who is better than him, that can come in and change the way these players play?
I honestly believe the ethos of these players is what hurts us most. I’m going round in circles saying this….. and it will all become clear when we get players that are more about press, aggression and work rate.
A very poor west ham side beat us today by simply turning up the pressure for ten minutes, that’s all it took. But can we turn out players into highly aggressive players? Course you can’t, no manager can change the fundamentals of a player. This is why we have transfer windows.

It's a complete lack of intensity that lost us that match.
Every single one of them needs to be showing more on the pitch. The amount of passes back into our half is an absolute disgrace. The amount of times players receive the ball, put their foot on it and then have a look around to see what they wanna do with the ball. Gray a prime example of this and someone who should be pushing forward a lot more. The amount of lazy backward passes and pure half-hearted from him today, really pissed me off. But that goes for all of the players.
Fuck confidence, fuck coaching, fuck tactics, fuck the board - today's on the players. They can't hide behind Frank, the board, Moshiri, or anything else; every one of them needs a good kick up the arse.

Things are so bad Moshiri's ready to come clean that he's just a front man 😅

Love the idea that Moshiri, for all these years, doesn't know he calls the shots.

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to Btay in Frank Lampard
I feel I always side with the manager until they are sacked but I must say, I feel the goals we concede are not down to poor instructions or tactics from that manager. Look at Soton - their first goal is just school boy errors, long ball to the CF, Tarks doesn’t even try and get in to an area to cover & Godfrey dives in. Second goal - they 100% would have stressed not to give a free kick away in that exact area. Gordon is just a dickhead. Myko tries to get on the line but doesn’t get there & Pickford leaves it thinking Myko has that side covered.
Frank has his flaws but right now, he’s the only person in any elevated role that has integrity & respect towards the club/fans.

Any chance the police can arrest the board for killing the football club? Plenty of evidence on the pitch that a crime has been committed and tens of thousands of witnesses to it.

If we can’t sell him this month we may as well play him until he breaks - he’s off on a free in the summer so we’re not getting anything for him anyway. When on the pitch, he’s our best centre back - he’s crap because he’s never on the pitch!

The last time Everton had this amount of points from the same amount of games was in 1951, and that year we were relegated from Division One. I think I'm right in saying that year there were 22 teams in the league, so there are 4 games less to try and get out of it than there was in 1951, whether that is negative factor I'm not sure, but I would argue any manager would want more games and time to turn things around. Sadly Lampard has to go he isn't going to change our fortunes in the next 19 games so we need to take that chance that someone else might be able to. I said 3-4 weeks ago I am resigned to Everton been relegated so I'm at peace with that sad yes but not angry, and I also said that our relegation would be the chance to get rid of Moshiri and start to fix the damage of the last 7 years. So prepare for relegation and the chance to rebuild our club in the Championship, and we will come back happier and stronger, and remember you will always be a supporter no matter what league, because Everton FC needs our support to survive, not Moshiri and his board. I'm at peace hope you all get there and we will get through this COYB
