AlbanyNYToffee got a reaction from Matt in Leeds (Away) 30th August
We’re building something here. You can see it starting to come together. We’re a solid mid-table team for once. I’m already loving this team because it’s predictable and consistent. We don’t try to be something we’re not and everyone puts in a shift. Kudos to Frank for getting the best (which I know for many of the players still isn’t good enough for our aspirations but he’s not a miracle worker) out of so many players.

I don't have a problem with him making no subs to be honest, because I definitely was not sat there thinking "please get (insert name here) on".
Desperate for some returning players and new arrivals so the bench doesn't look so threadbare.

I thought there was more positives than negatives. Leeds are so high intensity that the ball will get turned over. Defensively we look way better.
proud of them

I was about to say he's not in the squad tonight so must be on the move....then realised he's suspended 🤣🤣

Would've thought we'd know where ours is considering the amount we get fucked and fuck ourselves...

For pity’s sake, give these players a chance. They are proven in the Prem. They’re England internationals. It’s going to take a few games before their partnership is well established. Personally, I think we’re soon going to have one of the most solid defences in the league. Quote me halfway through the season if I’m wrong, not after they’ve played just two or three games together.

Love that even at 26 years old it’s still only a 3 yr deal. Significantly reduces the risk.

Reminds me Mark, thanks for the latest delivey; my lads reckon they'll shift it in around three weeks, Dimebag should be up with your cash over the weekend👍
Got to be carefull with these messages, if one of us accidentally put something on the main site we'd be in right bother!

To be fair, I thought he was referring to the FA, etc.

The amount of negativity around this transfer baffles me. It’s like some people think we’re an attractive proposition. We’re not. We’re a club that players and agent know has been run into the ground. Last season was an utter shambles and then we sold our best player. We’re shopping in Lidl because we don’t know where the nearest Waitrose is.
If anyone watched us last season and thinks we should be buying top level talent, go and see your GP or your optician. Something isn’t right.
This is what happens when your club is starting again from the beginning, and we have to live with it for a while.

AlbanyNYToffee reacted to Bailey in Rúben Vinagre
I only caught the end of the first and the whole second half but defensively I thought he was poor. I saw him beaten a couple of times, far too easily, including giving away a silly free kick after he was beaten. At one point I thought he was a youngster, so it surprised me that it wasn't.
In attack, which is where I had previously thought he looked good, I was again disappointed. He didn't show anything of promise. Quality on the ball and decisions on the ball weren't at the level I expected.
It is one game, so I am not reading too much into it. My opinion is that he did not take his chance to impress at all.

I thought he was really poor last night. I didn't see him do a lot right!

Probably because I'm Canadian. It's a class hockey player number.

No Allan, Gbamin or Dele on the bench. Crikey we're a mess. And by mess i just mean short on numbers. I'm glad Dele appears to be leaving and hope Gbamin and Gomes do as well.

Agreed and I, for one, won't miss him at all.
Doesn't help the majority on here but for the USA folks on here you can access it on ESPN+

I think we could well read into it that if he is not involved today, he's no longer an Everton player.
Btw..does anyone know if this is being broadcast anywhere?
