That "shot" is the perfect encapsulation of our season

I watched Coady take him on and run past him. Connor fucking Coady.
He was happy to play the hard man on the keeper but couldnt be bothered to chase a statue of a centre back.
For me, his attitude is all wrong.

I would rather Burnley had won if anyone did. At least then they would both still be within reach
Perso ally I think Burnley will get out of it

    Keane looked great for Burnley!
I think its more a case of the system they play in rather than them being quality defenders.

Lampard must be having sleepless nights trying to pick a team here. The “senior” players have let him down so badly.
To think we are in a relegation scrap and potentially having to look to two 20 year olds to come into defence to get better results is incredible.
    What makes Lampard look worse?
Play Keane and Coleman again and potentially get ripped apart again
    Or
Play Branthwaite & Patterson and not get a result.

I am so stressed out over this game, I'm going to be an absolute wreck come Sunday morning waiting to head over.

Because even though he works his arse off I’d drop as many players from that performance as possible. If we had the players I’d drop all 11, but we do actually have some options on the wing that we dont have anywhere else on the pitch.
But I also don’t want the lad carrying the team, that level of responsibility shouldn’t be on the shoulders of a kid.

In addition, and no doubt I’ll get shit for this, as hard as he works he isn’t actually giving an end product. If Grey is fit I’d bring him in. I’d have no issue seeing Grey and Iwobi or Townsend start against Wolves if just to freshen it up. Bring Gordon off the bench in the second half after a bit of a rest. Before we know it he’ll be burnt out and I don’t want to see that happen.

My first match since December 2018 amazingly, where in the world does the time go?
At arguably one of the most important moments in our history, going to be tense and intense....but still looking forward to it. How I feel after is up for question; just a single win is making things look so different at the moment (Brentford on Saturday).

I take your point, which is pessimistic because realistic.  My comment about the international break was posted before the catastrophe at Spurs.  So now, after Spurs, we all have reason to think the Cup match with Palace is already a lost cause.  And to think Lampard’s priority must and will be the crucial upcoming home matches with Wolves and Newcastle.
My point originally, in a thread on the FA Cup, was that playing in London on Sunday after a crucial Thursday night home match meant Lampard might be forced into serious squad rotation, complicated by injuries, uncertain recoveries, etc.  But the saving grace, I thought — and hope to think again after the Newcastle match — is that since the international break follows the Palace match, Lampard will be free to play the most in-form players, knowing they’ll have time to recover over the break.
That we have so many in-hand matches both gives us some hope for survival but makes for an unusually crowded April and May.
If we take 6 points from our next 2 matches, or even 4 if that includes beating Newcastle, this thread will take on some renewed interest, and at least some will talk as if we might surprise Palace.  If, however, we take anything less than 4 from the next 2, this thread will probably die from lack of interest.  Or disgust.

The saving grace is that it's not a league game and when Palace beat us it won't matter so much.

We are not battling relegation last nights performance was more like we are accepting relegation, I never saw any battling.

At this rate we could almost play Rondon at Cb and Keane up top.
Rondon has kept the ball out of the net for all bar one game and Keane’s banging them in or assisting

He's been like this the entire time he has been at the club.
Pickford has learned from his errors.  DCL has learned.  Even Kenny seems to have learned this season to improve his game.  I feel sorry for Keane because he's clearly not got the temperament and unable to get the errors out of his game, but he's just not got what it takes at this level.  Been a disaster for 4 years now.

How on earth do the others Everton players even look Keane in the eye.  Nearly every match he fucks us.

Games in hand only count if you can actually get points from them. We cannot. We're averaging fewer than 1 point per game. So if we keep that average we're one point ahead of Leeds and 2 behind brentford. This is a dog fight and we have a squad of Dreamcloud mattresses.

Got to get Keane away from the club. That is absolutely disgusting…. Jogs back after Kane and puts no pressure on at all. Embarrassing from a Sunday league footballer let alone a premier league player.

Keane bullied in the middle. Appealing for a flag. Regardless if it is or not its not good enough from him. Get him out of the club
