Tonsta got a reaction from pete0 in Manchester United (Away) Saturday 6 February
I remember watching a young player put in at left back, probably the worst i had seen at that time.
Everyone was on his case, then they moved him to CB, the rest is history, that was K Ratcliffe.
Holgate is not a full back, but i believe he will be a very good CB, IMO

If anyone thinks today would have been any different with Davies or Gomes starting instead of Siggy is watching a different game to me.
They are all varying levels of shit and not one of them can be counted to turn up when you need them.
I agree that Siggy was poor but I couldn't say that he was significantly worse than the rest of them.

I’m not getting the people blaming Carlo, he can’t go out there and play the match. There was no intensity or big effort it was going through the motions. That’s not Carlo. That is the players.

Tonsta reacted to Cornish Steve in Jordan Pickford
Just to be clear: The problem is not that he made a mistake that cost us two points. That's going to happen to the best of goalkeepers from time to time. The issue is that it's part of a pattern, to the point where we almost come to expect it.

That's Pickford first mistake that has cost us points, he's definitely in surplus when it comes to points. Ball was through a lot of bodies and he tipped it onto the post. If he used his feet he'd probably have saved it. But half the team should have controlled the ball better first and the manager should have changed things. To solely blame Pickford is laughable. Gomes, Richarlison and DCL all should have done better the other end.

Sergio Conceicao (FC Porto manager) reportedly didn't even want him to sign, hence why he's only played three times and the loan is set to be cut short - there's also rumours that the player himself has fallen out with the Porto hierarchy despite being there less than six months.
To be honest I didn't rate him at all with West Ham, and if he isn't pulling up trees with them I don't see what he's going to bring to our table (nor is he in a position we need).
I expect this to be lazy journalism in truth, but either way it's a no from me.

Yes i have noticed the improvement in Keane, and its good, it was not a criticism, just a fact a forward that moves a lot or with pace, will beat Mina & Keane all day.
He has taken better positions up for crosses, but not people running in behind him, but that's just my opinion.

I would like to see Holgate, he is the only defender we have who can spot danger, and deal with it, the rest react, usually to late. IMO
