The squad would be benefiting hearing Carlo barking instructions at the playing XI. A silver lining of no crowd to fast track the squad cohesion. 
We've seen plenty of shape/formation changes through games, and what looked to me like a defensive shape trial purposely to prepare for Liverpool for periods of the second half against Brighton to manage the game.

Personally as much as I don't believe he is good enough - this stems from watching him try and play with footballers who were hiding when the team needed them to show courage. 
For his courage and commitment to the shirt I want to see us patch him up. Playing with better players may help him get back to something like we thought he was.  
I think his attitude and everything he brings from an application is an example to players who are looking to step up.  We shouldn't be casting him off as that sends the wrong message, be brave, be committed and you will get looked after. 

I just hope he does himself justice and they play a way that suits him. He might be getting loads of positive media attention now but it will quickly turn if he doesn't do well. 
I do feel for any young lad getting into the England side. It really is a circus.

Italian guy at work is a massive Cagliari fan, so I asked him about Olsen.
He said that he did really well for them - just all round solid keeper and the fans wanted him to stay. However the covid and a lack of cash meant they club couldn’t make the transfer permanent.

I never wanted him here but I don't think he did too badly for us at all tbh. Would I class him as a brilliant signing? No. But he wasn't a bad signing all in all. He scored a few goals for us, some very important. Put a shift in. Showed some glimpses of quality. It's just that he wasn't consistent and that's always been his problem.
I'm not sad to see him go but I'm not jumping for joy about it either, he goes with my best wishes.

It's the free part that still gets me. An unbelievable bit of business done by Brands and the entire team that got this one done. Quickly building a reputation and legacy that will hopefully last for a very long time. And the JOY that is on his face when the team scores. You can just tell this is the first time he's really enjoyed playing in quite some time.
