Peter H got a reaction from SimonButtle in Fellaini's Ban
Ossie on the right is a terrible idea, rather see Coleman there and Neville/Hibbo at RB. Thats how much I dont want to see Osman on the right.
Best option right now, even if I hate splitting up Baines/Pienaar, is to play Pienaar on the right, Oviedo on the left.

Peter H got a reaction from Bailey in Stoke City - Away Game
Oh for fuck sake DK! If youre so sensible and logical, cant you see that im trying to wind you up? I know that theres a very small chance of scoring four goals against Stoke. How many times have we scored four this season? Will we do it against a team like Stoke who will have 10-11 players behind the ball at all times? No, probably not.
So im sticking to my guns, Stoke 1, Everton 4. Hibbert to score the lot. (DK, this last sentance was laced with irony, Hibbo scoring 4 being the dead give away)

Peter H reacted to StevO in Tim Cahill On Loan?
Can we just be happy with what he has done in the past, and leave it there?
Tim, go and have a loan at Milwall, you will make a difference there.

It's not jealousy on my part. He's a good manager but an arsehole. And I love Mourinho, I can't wait for him to come back to the Premiership.

Peter H got a reaction from StevO in Man of the Match v Spurs
We need Felli up there to score. His goals speak volumes for it. We have a great midfield with Osman and Gibson. Mirallas needs to learn how to let go of the ball once in a while before we give him a providing role behind the striker.
That my opinion at least. I know that a lot of you dont agree, but hey, thats what a discussion forum is for

Fair play lads.
I'm a die hard Spurs fan, but just came on here to sincerely congratulate you guys. I think you just did enough to earn the win. No doubt 1st half you were better, 2nd half we improved a lot and it was a good game. We can't defend to save our lives during the last 10 mins.
I've always quite liked Everton, I really respect Moyes and I like your players and fans. Nothing cnutish about any of you lot. Obviously I hope we beat you in the race for 4th, as we both have a good shot, but if we don't make it I'hope you guys beat the Gooners. Not saying that just cause I'm a Spurs fan, i'd prefer you made it over most.
Good luck.

From Spurs fan: Congrats Evertonians. Never say die spirit.
We have conceded last minute goals all season. Why we will not finish 4th.
Good luck to you for rest of the season. Finish above Liverpool again please

I would not say that Arsenal are better than Spurs or Everton at the moment.
Mirallas off, Naismith on..

Hello blue nose chaps,
Spurs fan here.
Whatever the result this afternoon, wish you boys the best of luck for the rest of the season. No secret that Everton are a well respected club down at the Lane. Always give us a good game, and this season youve built a brilliant side that is really impressing. And all done on a budget of half an Andy Carroll.
I think you will win today, 2 - 1. Fellaini is the kind of player who will give our defensively dodgy centrebacks a nightmare. especially if Gallas starts.
obviously hoping we finish in the top 4 this season, but if not obviously hope its Everton and not Arsenal or the Red Scallies (God Forbid).

Peter H reacted to Steve_E in Fellaini - Defensive Midfielder
Why do people keep posting stuff like this when you only have to look at his numbers to see it isn't true. In 08-09 he played behind the striker and he scored 8 goals in his first season in England. In 09-10 he played mainly as a defensive midfielder and he scored 2 goals. In 10-11 he played mainly as a box-to-box and he scored 1 goal. In 11-12 he played mainly as a box-to-box and he scored 3 goals, 2 of which he scored when he played behind the striker at the end of the season, against Man Utd and Fulham. This season he's played 13 games behind the striker and he's scored 8 goals. Seems to me like he's more difficult to mark when he plays behind the striker.

Peter H got a reaction from barryj in If Moyes goes?
Why do i get the feeling that you are trying to lecture everyone by googeling facts from the past that everyone remembers anyway by having lived it? We know where they came from. We know how they did. Btw I remember them both quite differently. As someone said, they both did ok. Perhaps not pound for pound, but ok.

Peter H got a reaction from Romey 1878 in Norwich
Agree with blueboy122 on players not showing up but where was the substitution around the 60-70 minute mark? Team was clearly lacking in pace, strength and ideas.
DM can be blamed for his in game tactics, he hardly ever makes a substitution that turns round a match or the run of play.
But all saying that he cannot manage an attacking side are way of the mark. This season we have seen an everton playing a very attractive and attacking football

Peter H got a reaction from JoeQuince in Pienaar
Massive article in swedish newspaper yesterday saying how important Pienaar/baines is to everton. But they also give massive praise to Mirallas. When he comes pver on the left and Baines, Pienaar an Felli already there they can break down any defence just by being a player more on that side. They are so skilled on small areas that they can overpopulate the area without losing their composure and passing. In fact it seems to be a strategic move from DM and they presented statistics to prove it.
Ill get it translated and stick it up here after the weekend. (for now ive just got room for tomorrows game in my head)
