When I lived in China last year the restaurant opposite my apartment sold dog as a delicacy. You could see full roasted dogs ( as opposed to sliced and diced) hanging on hooks outside it. The funny thing is, the menu didnt show a picture of the dish, just a picture of a dog running on some grass! Lots of people ask me if I ate dog when I was over there and I honestly couldn't tell you because most of the time you don't know what the fuck you are eating!

Moyes IS the stability, lose him and I guarantee we'll lose jags, Baines, felli etc. He has convinced them to stay. I don't know who this manager is who will win us trophies, Redknapp?! No thanks. Mcleish? No thanks. Houllier? No thanks. Allardyce?!! But surely these must all have that 'winning mentality' having won some silverware? Be careful what you wish for. Winning trophies is about the players on the pitch stepping up when the time comes.

I'd swap any manager or player for silver wear as I believe competition is the life of any sport.
 
I think this delay in the contract is Moyes playing hard ball. He's had a decade of pulling of miracles with no money to spend. I think we are seeing Moyes force the boards hand - you want me to stay, give me a chance and stop strangling my team. Moyes will sign another contract but the board will have to keep the banks at bay and let him hold onto his top players.
