1) I have no idea what this thread is about, but wan't to start an extraneous one.

2) Favourite ever line this weekend from 'Arry'. Asked about the non-penalty, in their derby, which would have been a second yellow for van der vaart, his quote,

"Never in my mind it was handball, I haven't seen it you know i don't know I haven't [then repeated but softer, half hushed]i haven't[end hushed] seen the goal since; I've never had anyone say it was; anyway the referee didn't give it, whatever it was and it was a goal so that's the end of that one."

I wish I knew how to cut this clip and turn it into a youtube of him saying this after every time he's been interviewed about a contentious penalty call in his favour, with "Relevant topic" inserted for"Handball".

The man must be some sort of genius genius.

Because for me he's the best English candidate for the job and I don't think He would take to kindly to any of the antics that have plagued our National side for some time.

Who else is there really attitude wise and tactically He's the best suited for the job, He wouldn't get walked all over and He would "hopefully" in my opinion change our style of play and pick people on form.

I think he's a decent manager, but he is a spender.

Managing England is a different job. You have to be able to bring 25 ego's together as one, and have experience of tournament play too.

I think there is too much controversy surrounding Redknapp for him to be offered the job. They didn't bring a foreign coach in because English managers weren't good enough, but because nobody wanted it lol.

Our whole pompous attitude prevents sportsmen and women from succeeding more often. Somebody who hates the English would probably win us the world cup.

I can somewhat see what your saying but that's just generalising what managers need to suceed at "cup level"

It's been seen through club and international level that you don't need experience in such events to be successful if that was the case no-one would win anything in the first place.

The whole problem regarding ego's would hopefully dwindle with the "old faces" being fazed out hence My previous comments.

I really can't see him taking any shite from any player He is well known to drop players who don't perform and make it known when someone pisses him off just what we need, whether He'd be a success well you take that risk with any manager regardless.

We have some right stinkers in terms of attitude but lets not kid ourselves we are hardly the only Nation to suffer numbties Football across the board is the same.

Harry Redknapp has the best record, statistically speaking, of any Spurs manager since the club joined the Football League in 1908.

As for spending a lot, Spurs brought-in three first choice players this summer - Brad Friedel, Scott Parker and Emmanuel Adebayor for a total outlay of just £5 million.

During the same transfer window, Spurs sold-on players to the value of £31.5 million and considerably reduced our annual wage bill in the process.

You're not very clever if you believe that!

Well I do believe our annual financial report, which was just released last week.

Revenues were up to £163.5m (2010 £119.8m)

Profits were up 42% to £32.3m (2010 £22.7m)

That's what a good run in the champs league does. No doubt they'll be down from that next year but I believe you'll end up top 4 this season anyway.
