Arouna Kone

Honestly I think he would be a perfect fit at Sunderland. Anichebe is injured for 3 months and they have 24 hours to sign another striker otherwise they have no backup for Defore for the rest of the season. Kone is unwanted and cheap - fits the Sunderland motto perfectly.

But surely, that board is not going to approve the signing of another former Everton player.

Moyes can point out that Kone wasn't one of HIS Everton players, so it doesn't count!

There were certainly some flashes when we played with 2 strikers that he and Rom worked well together - just not enough of them.

He's also shit, so that fits the Sunderland motto too.

Strange post Paddock

Lets just say I'm delighted we have another freeloader who isn't good enough to play in this league let alone for a side trying to break top 4 off our books.

And another piece of shit Martinez saddled with us out the door. Utterly dreadful player.

Never seen him give anything less than 100%. Unlucky with his injury and for all intents and purposes he was finished when his knee went.

Not good enough for us and giving him number 9 was an odd choice... just like it was for Beattie and Donovan.

I wish him well as I think he's generally been unlucky. Wasn't given a fair run of the green by fans in the way that naismith and Valencia weren't from the get go.
