Paddock
http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/exclusive-everton-fc-striker-samuel-8031973 He's a classact. The biy epitomises what we have been missing at this club for years now. Everything he says about us shows he's really taken us to his heart and the fans are now taking him to theres. Said it close season, this lad could be Martinez most important signing for us. Matt
Newty82
I'm glad he has such a clause in his current contract. Makes sense. He can and will bring a lot to our club. He won't play to the level he did against Burnley every week, buy he'll always bring something to the table. Matt
Hafnia
I think he's just gonna get fitter and soon enough we will base our attacking play around him. It's a no brainer. He scores from anywhere, any type of goal. Matt

Sideliner
a fit Eto'o would be my first choice starting striker at this stage - better on the ball with Lukaku coming on as impact player - speed and strength when opposition is tired that is where he scored most of his goals for West Brom

Romey 1878
Only came into his own today when he wasn't the main man. Maybe he didn't know his role? Because in the first half he drifted everywhere and he struggled to make an impact for me. But once Lukaku was on and he was put on the right he was a threat and linked up well. He's definitely better behind the front man where he can drift around a lot more. He looked good at times, more so when he didn't have to be the lone front man. Wrong end of his career to be the line front man.
Bailey
I thought he did alright first half but ended up outside the box too often and I was surprised that he was the one moved wide when Lukaku came on. He got on the ball at the end but never really in a position to cause a threat.
Matt
Saw him dropping back to RB sometimes in the second half just to come get the ball. He needs to play with Lukaku as the main man, the main distraction occupying the defenders. They will learn to link up well

markjazzbassist
the tough thing here is we have 3 number 10's now. Barkley, Naismith, and Eto'o. It's where all 3 are best suited. I'd rather Ross and Eto'o get the all the reps there though.

Romey 1878
There's such a massive difference in his performances when he comes off the bench in comparison to when he starts.
markjazzbassist
There's such a massive difference in his performances when he comes off the bench in comparison to when he starts. please explain more. do you think he's better bench or start? i though he had a good match today but faded late. he was great defending and moving the ball forward, had a really nice back heel to lukaku. i like him both ways, think he's class, just can't play a full 90. I think he's been far better coming off the bench, a game changer, but not as good when he starts. I thought he was fairly anonymous tonight. I thought he was fairly anonymous tonight. I agree to be honest. With the exception of the Burnley game he's been a bit hit and miss when he's started. He's been great though. Can't wait for us to announce he's signed up until 2016 or something he's someone I would love to see around the club for many years after he hangs up his boots in a coaching capacity. The guy is a winner and he brings that mentality to us. He is the only one we have and we should realise and appreciate that in him.

Today, again, he's not looked good when starting. Hopefully he'll fix that second half.
Newty82
I like the way he finds space to receive the ball. His movement is class. And his use of the ball is class too. Thought he was ok today, but I wonder if he has the legs to play 'in the hole' for a full game.

Really? He has eighteen months left on his contract so he doesn't get to weigh up anything unless we say he can. Ridiculous.

Guest millwallforever
"he doesn't get to weigh up anything unless we say he can. That's what Pool said, all the while Suarez was singing the praises of La Liga. Eto'o and his agent will do whatever suits them.
