Guest rusty747
Wouldn't be upset with that side. If Atsu is off the pace either swap him for Mcgeady or move Mirallas to the right and bring Oviedo on the left.

Paddock
Our reserve side is shite that's why we were out of both cups at the first hurdle, although we did field a strong side v West Ham I agree Leicester is a huge game but the players have just had a good break with having no game this weekend so if they cant handle 2 games in a week there is something seriously wrong This a million percent. Romey 1878
Robles Coleman Stones Jagielka Garbutt Barry McCarthy Mirallas Barkley Oviedo Lukaku I like that, but I'd probably have Mirallas on the left and bring Atsu in. I know Atsu didn't look great in the few chances he had before the ACON, but his confidence must be sky high at the moment. If there's a time to play him, it's now. Btay
I know it wont happen, but I would love to see Gibson get a run before Barry. Annoyed that Barry will walk straight into this game because of his suspension, however I would rather see Gibson get games and hopefully get fit before Barry plays. veedublin
Why Robles over Howard? (not arguing, just wondering if there's a specific reason we'd play him over howard against YB.)
Cornish Steve
Why Robles over Howard? (not arguing, just wondering if there's a specific reason we'd play him over howard against YB.) Because he's in form, has a point to prove, and he's Spanish and understands better how European teams play. That's my reasoning, at least. Ph3nom3nay
They beat Napoli if that is anything to go by, their mid table this year just like us. I know serie A is not as competitive as the premier league but i would consider Napoli a tough game if we was to go up against them. i think it will be a tough game even with a full strength team. AlbanyNYToffee
Howard Coleman Stones Jags Baines/Oviedo Barry McCarthy McGeady Barkley Mirallas Lukaku Certain Starters: Howard, Coleman, Stones, Jags, Baines/Oviedo, Barry, Mirallas, Lukaku You would never start Garbutt over Oviedo for a european game. Garbutt used against leicester if necessary. Barry PL suspended has to start this game. I would look for Kone, Atsu and Naismith to make an impact off the bench if necessary. EFC-Paul
I suspect Garbutt will get the nod for this. Teams spot on. ---------------Howard Coleman----Stones---Jags----Garbutt ---------McCathy-----Besic Lennon--------Barkley---------Miralles ---------------Lukaku Agreed this bar when Baines is fit is what I'd like to see us starting with most games Edited February 17, 2015 by EFC-Paul

seve
i find it confusing the amount of people have gone for howard in goal when the majority on here said after the west ham, palace, liverpol that robles was the man in form and there is no way he will put howard straight back in well he did and know so have all of you the one maxim in football we all get is you never drop a man in form so there must be something we don't know about you all all know my view of tim but this has baffled me to put a man straight back in who in most peoples view on this site was having the worst season in his time with us this is not my usual rant but im totally confused.
