Meant Robson Kanu ran around like a headless chicken and Bale was dropping back too deep to be effective. Mind you, based on their performance, England might even trail Gibraltar in the world rankings. Though the fact remains that Wales were also the only team in the tournament that England fairly comprehensively outplayed. All short passing in triangles. They won the possession stats but at the end of the day didn't do anything with it in terms of goal attempts.
