I think he's a decent player of course, but I think there are better options out there. That said, I wouldn't be disappointed to see him stick around. Would be a more than capable squad player for next season. £11m isn't much these days and I think he'd be worth it. Guest rusty747 Posted May 27, 2017 Report Share Posted May 27, 2017 We will be playing more games next season than this, our older players will be yet another year older and I think Valencia's experience, natural fitness, pace and mobility would be a useful asset to have on the bench. I think he works hard and offers something off the bench, BUT if Koeman plays a younger player then they'll know they have to provide the required workrate.
