I really do wonder why Koeman is so afraid to just go for it. This lineup screams fear to me. Lukaku is far too isolated in the front to make anything happen with only Coleman making consistent runs to his side. It's asking a lot of them. The gap in the middle between the front 3 and the rest is huge at times. Still not convinced by this set up at all. Funes Mori has overhit three diagonal long balls by my count which sums up why this formation doesn't suit us. Our centre backs aren't particularly good crossers or long ball specialists. Should take off one of the CBs and put on Valencia who can run the channels and provide support to Lukaku. Also need another body in the centre of the pitch who can receive shorter passes and build up play through the wingers or direct to the front a la Davies, Barkley or Cleverley. Still couldn't get a toe to it. Our offense is dreadfully boring. We could nick a point, or even 3, but more likely Leicester will score on 91 minutes with a long, lofted ball that confuses two of our CBs and Joel.
