Bailey
Get in! If Cenk is up top he wouldnt have got there and thats why Richarlison is in the side IMO. Interesting subs, fear we might get mauled through centre midfield but the two strikers will give them a fight at the back after being softened up by Richarlison. badaids
Lovely ball by Gomes there, I've watched the reply about three times and I still can't work out how he controlled that brought it down and then made the pass.
chicagoblue
Had a good little spell there and now off it a little bit. Need to get it down, quick passes. Trying to hard to get it into Richarlison no matter where he is
MikeO
Even if we lose this we're a hundred times more watchable than we were last year. Work in progress for sure but we're progressing faster than I expected. Sibdane, badaids, chalkpie and 1 other

Our wide men have been poor last two games, so surely it makes sense to play him in his natural position? And we've got options at CF, DCL and Tosun both scored last week. (based on your following post). Both the strikers werent offering a great deal and thats why richie was moved up top. Id presume the theory from Silva was that Bernard would step into Richies shoes like he did at Leicester but that hasnt worked to plan. As a result we may well see Richie wide again from the start if one of the two strikers earns a recall but it may be that Lookman gets a start first. Hafnia
Regardless of the result I'm content. Loads to be happy about. 1. Gomes. 2. Richarlison 3. The defence is better 4. We play football 5. Pickford is ace Shukes

Haiku
Richarlison for me. He certainly speaks class with every move he makes. Hell of a player, the best investment we've done for years. edit: Since Pickford, sorry. Shukes

chicagoblue
Coleman and Walcott let us down today. I think we would have won this if they'd been at the races. The penalty certainly didn't help. Pickford motm then Gomes markjazzbassist

Sev
A little more of... whatever. We could/should have got 1 point out of it. Basically the team performed well except for a few. And I'm not sure if Silva should have reacted earlier. Correction! He should have!
Bailey
Aargh. Thats a big disappointment. We are as good as them but we gave them too many easy chances and then couldnt put ours away. Its so much better than before but it still doesnt stop it from being a frustrating game. MikeO
