Top of the table with only Aston Villa perfect as well. No one could have predicted it.
I said earlier that big teams are dropping points and it’s continuing. As long as we keep ticking along and grinding out the tough wins where we need to we could potentially open up a nice gap.
Target has to be win the league, every season along with every game. Miss your target slightly and then settle for Europe.

The disparity in global pricing makes it hard to swallow in the UK I imagine.
In Australia, I get every match streamed live, and on demand for the next week, free with my Optus mobile phone plan. Or I could purchase it for $14.99 per month or annually for $139.
I’m sure there’s similar deals in many countries.

Scored for Brazil in a 4-2 World Cup qualifier over Peru today. Played 90mins. Played his role in the first half on the wide right of a front 3, and an excellent second half mainly playing centrally.
The best part, he tapped in on the goal line to take the goal from his team mate... Firmino 😂 to level the scores at 2-2...
Started the third, with a clearance from a corner,  receiving the ball at the half way line, and playing a cross field through ball to send Everton with a run toward goal, ending in a penalty for a push.
Had a Peru player sent off for an elbow shortly after.
    Some player he is.

The squad would be benefiting hearing Carlo barking instructions at the playing XI. A silver lining of no crowd to fast track the squad cohesion.
We've seen plenty of shape/formation changes through games, and what looked to me like a defensive shape trial purposely to prepare for Liverpool for periods of the second half against Brighton to manage the game.
    Don Carlo 👏

Totally understand that perspective but what is the solution? Why would a huge international brand want to spend 10m a year on Everton kit? They could headline a pro golf tournament or F1 race for that kind of money and get 10x the return on their investment they would from us. Our place in the table is in direct correlation to the brands we are able to attract.
Also I wouldn't say the top 6 have these super attractive names on their shirts: Utd/City/Arsenal are huge brands sure, Spurs/Liverpool are financial services (had to google as the states are totally unfamiliar with AIA and StandardChartered), Chelsea is yokohama tyres.
I'm not being a wise guy, can you name a few companies/brands you would like to see?

He’s got everything. That Newcastle goal where he rolls it into the bottom corner sums up of good he is at finishing like that, composed as it comes - similar to his goal against wolves when he first signed.

Keane is our lovren... he doesn't add competition- just cover. When he plays you count the ball watching mistakes and hope it doesn't cost us.
Mina is worth persevering with, holgate solid, we need a lynch pin. Hopefully gabriel is that player.

Arsenal v Brighton called off, if we are are as the experts say 4 weeks behind Italy and heading in the same direction, then I can see this season being cancelled in quite a few countries.
If the players and staff are catching it then how can games go on even if behind closed doors, there will be so much self isolation going on clubs won’t be able to put a team out.
Which brings me onto the shite if the season is abandoned and they can’t rightfully win the league, as an Evertonian I would feel a sense of poetic justice had been administered ? I’ll say know more.

The amount of people questioning Ancellotti is baffling.  He is not beyond questioning but I can see what he is doing.... he is giving all players a fair run out before wielding the axe.
The concerning thing is the amount of players who should not be wearing our shirt.... I will do a status of each player which reflects my opinion of them.
    1. Pickford:-  if we can get better for less then buy them, if it means Pickford stays as a number 2/has competition then fine but we need a keeper of more reliability.
    2. Sidebe:- if we can utilise the buy option for £13m and sell him immediately at a profit then that is the only way we should buy him.
    3. Coleman:- backup that's it
    4. Kenny:- see how he is but if he isn't up to it then sell
    5. Michael Keane:-  poor. Get rid, too slow and doesn't concentrate
    6. Holgate:- shit yesterday but been the only defensive shining light this season along with Baines cameos.  Keep and find a best partner.
    7. Mina:- jury still out on him. Just not sure. I wanted more from him.
    8. Digne:- needs to have a word with himself. Does he want to play for us? Looks unhappy, unsettled, moody....
    9. Schneiderlein:- get rid asap. Stinks of the awful attitude we see in the team from time to time.
    10. Delph:- get him gone. Leeds may want him if they get promoted. He can play Johnny big bollocks there.
    11. Gomes;- build the team around
    12. Richarlison:- build the team around
13.Bernard:- need to find a way to get him involved because he is a great little player.
    14. Walcott:- if we can get a decent fee then sell him. Gordon has to be a better option
    15. Tom Davies:- not good enough sadly. Find him a home. He's been messed about with different managers and needs to play footy
    16. DCL:- a good solid forward. Not a finisher but a great number 2
    17. Kean:- high expectations. Looks a prospect.
    18. Gbamin:- let's hope he isn't of the schneiderlein, Delph, Davies ilk and can be a partner for Gomes or a centre half partner for holgate.
    19. Iwobi:- inconsistent but I see a player there. Has a good attitude which is a start.

    Compensating for aerial weakness
Another advantage Chelsea have when using three centre-backs is the extra height it gives them when defending set-pieces and crosses.
This has been an area of weakness throughout Lampard's first season in charge at Stamford Bridge.
    Most aerial goals conceded 2019/20
Headed goals Goals from corners Club Total Club Total AVL 11 AVL 9 WOL 9 NOR 9 CHE 8 CHE 8 NOR 8 MUN 8   WHU 8 Meanwhile, Sunday's opponents Everton have scored the most goals from corners, with nine, and boast the twin aerial threats of Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Richarlison.
So despite beating Liverpool 2-0 in the FA Cup this week with a back four, it may be prudent for Lampard to consider reverting to a back three.
Bringing in an extra centre-back, while releasing Alonso and James to play further forward, could pay off against the Toffees.

Sig wouldn't of been on the deck if he wasn't fouled.
It's a foul anywhere on the pitch and a yellow card.
