We lost, but damn we showed some character again.
So many good chances, so unlucky as well.

No shame in that performance 👏👏👏
Considering we lost, that was an enjoyable watch.
Remember lads...at this point last year, at 2 down that quickly, heads would have been down and out.

They both definitely could’ve got on that floating debris but Rose was a selfish bitch.

And that's why I've got so much patience with him. He can frustrate but the results are coming and, more importantly, the performances are what I think an Everton side should be; gritty when needed, creative and possession based when possible, classy as much as practically allowed. I'm loving it.

It's not fair, he needs to start picking Gomes and Dele in the side, give the others teams a chance.

I can see the frustrations around a certain player, sometimes with subs, and maybe some stubbornness.
    BUT...
What a fuckin job he's doing.
And, no, I'm not just saying this now. I said similar things repeatedly over time.
He is exactly what we have needed after the last several years.
Mostly, I enjoy watching us play. Then I look in disbelief at how little possession we have. Because it rarely feels that way.
Let's be honest. The only thing that has stopped us from being 9 - 12 points better off is finishing.
You guys have all said the good stuff already so I won't repeat it.
The most pleasing thing I'm seeing though is the unity in the team. The way they celebrate together, throw themselves into tackles, clap each other, encourage. With that it's brought a much needed rekindling between fans and the players.
This in itself is a massive win.
I do agree that there MIGHT be a ceiling as to where he can take us but, in all honesty, with the ownership etc I think he'll take us beyond what we would have thought was realistic a year ago.
We will progress with him though.

Not perfect by any means, who is, but exactly what we need at this club. Especially in this period.

He's a dinosaur, they say, but I really enjoy the style we are playing in right now. Long may it last!

Keep cooking Dyche.  Forget the table, it is just nice to be excited about the weekend again.

We're 6th in the form table over the last 10 games, 4th over the last 6 games. But he's 1 dimensional and not good enough...

Edit: without the deduction, we'd be 10th with 2 wins off a European place and 11 points safe. Just let that sink in; with everything he came in to, with the mess around transfers and points, he's got us in top 6 form.

I would to be honest, there’s definitely a football rivalry between Blue and Red which if I’m honest has got more toxic than I’d like to have seen over the years, but when the chips are down the City comes together to fight for each other and put their differences aside. There are still households, families and communities that share the same values and space if not the same team. Blues and Reds stand United together through tragedies and travesties of justice.

    Fuckin diabolical. Absolutely farce.
How can they turn this round so quickly yet City, Chelsea and the rest crack on?!
Anybody with just a smidge of footy knowledge will look at this and know its absolute bullshit.
On the playing side. Fuck all yo worry about. These players have shown more character and togetherness than we've seen for years. This'll just light that fire even more.

I can't quite understand the Dyche negativity. We just went away from home to a team who won a European trophy last season, and came away with a deserved and not a 'nicked' three points. We also had other very good chances and maybe unlucky only to come away 0-1. A deserved clean sheet, and the West ham fans booed their team off at the end as we out battled them for pretty much the whole game.
when the highlights are on MotD tonight, it will be pretty much all Everton, with the pundits giving us the plaudits and the Hammers the hard time.
off the back of two seasons of being deserved beated game in game out, with next to no transfer budgeted spent, we are actually being competative in games, and are really unlucky not to be 6-9 points further up the table.
this is massive progress on the team of the past to seasons.

Couple of things spring to mind...
For fucks sake, Bill, step away and look after yourself.
For me, it then goes down the same old same old BK theatrical route 'right up until the day...'. Like, the absolute hero approach.
Nobody knew anything about it. Hence the privacy. Now they do...

I wouldn’t go as far as to say people have respected his privacy, I think it’s more a case of no one’s interested.
