AlbanyNYToffee got a reaction from RuffRob in Everton Players at the World Cup?
Here's how I see it:
Locks: Pickford, Gana
Most likely: Coady
Darn close: Tarkowski, Onana
Still technically possible: DCL, Vinagre
Everyone else heads to the land down under.

lets get Fat Frank Gone. Why we didn't take Potter is criminal.

I think he could do a job anywhere in midfield for us, and as injuries pop up I am sure we will start to see him become the go to replacement for all three of those currently starting.
It's going to be a case then of making yourself undroppable.
I think we saw a reminder last night that our team and midfield in particular is very much a work in progress and there will be bumps in the road.
The experience and class of the Utd midfield really showed last night. Fernández, Eriksen and Cassamero.
I think we are growing and I am sure over the next 18months Garner will be a big part of this.

We spent about £80m on Keane, Mina and Godfrey.
These two costing hardly anything and putting the others to shame with their simple no nonsense defending and occasional smashing an opponent. Love them both.
Hope we make Coady’s stay permanent very soon.

We have a plan and we're working towards an end goal.
It's why I'm more than prepared to be patient.

Yup, eight game unbeaten start to 2020/21, until we lost at.....Southampton!
Seven wins on the bounce to start and I was in hospital for all of them, came home and we drew with Liverpool and then lost four of the next five; remember offering to re-admit myself if it would've helped

Unbeaten in 6, 2 consecutive wins. Progress is being made at a steady pace.

The referee was fucking abysmal today what a shameful display. That being said 3 points on the road is a rarity for us so I'm happy overall, despite not a very good performance.

Literally the first player who could have gotten injured has. FFS. What did all of us do in a past life to deserve this torturous love affair?

Went looking for my comments in this thread but apparently i left the really bad stuff in the matchday posts. He's had many a critic on here and I was towards the front of the queue. While this is a great place to share our thoughts and grievances it's also very important we admit to our mistakes. I would like to formally apologize to Alex. Many have been watching Everton for decades so I'm sure others jump to mind but in my 15 years I have never seen anyone have a turnaround like his. He was absolute trash no way around it and now he is our most important player. Full credit to him (with a decent assist from the coaching staff) on persistence and unlocking his potential.

Not sure if it’s been mentioned on site yet & apologies if it has.
We have faced 66 corners this season & only conceded 1 goal. Unbelievable improvement.

I just love that there is true optimism about the place. Frank and team seem to have a coherent plan and have got the players on board. I feel the most positive about my beloved Blues than I have for - probably -years. Hope he is happy to stay with us given that Christine and family are in London.

Albany, I too apologised a few months ago for my negativity towards Iwobi. Though at the time we were going nowhere and did not have any managerial/training nous. Very glad to have been proved wrong and have voted him MOM most times so far this season.
