Haiku got a reaction from Newty82 in Next Manager
Dunc will fail miserably. Stop this madness. We need someone with experience.

Godfrey was good until the last minute fuck up.

He looks like my mums chainsmoking mate Kath who just separated from her hubby and doesn’t look that bothered about it.

Yes, I can see us lower mid but safe with a proper manager.

Surely this is the lowest low we have ever been. I would be surprised if Frank isn't gone by tomorrow. I would resign if I was him.

Haiku reacted to Matt in Kevin Thelwell (Director of Football)
We need the whole budget going on a quality forward. Don't care if he's 30, we need a target man who can relieve the pressure on the rest of the team by creating an outlet and space. We've not got the luxury to plan for the future in that role, not this window anyway. Screw the sell on argument, we need goals now.

Haiku reacted to StevO in Frank Lampard
I can’t be anymore confused by what I’m reading.
Relegation is in no way a good thing for Everton.
Relegation is the single worst thing that can happen to the club on the pitch.
Relegation offers no benefits whatsoever.
Relegation offers the possibility of the club being financially damaged beyond anything we’ve seen before, especially during a £500m stadium build.
Relegation offers the threat of Everton not being a top tier club for decades, especially while other clubs with good investment and a good strategy solidify their places in the Premier League.
If you sit in your seat at Goodison Park every week, spend thousands each year watching the team, pour all of your emotions into every goal we score, and you think we can benefit from going down, let’s talk about it. Convince me I’m wrong here. But I’ll start the conversation; I’m not wrong.

Haiku got a reaction from Billwelshblue in Frank Lampard
Makes little sense to keep him nevermind where do we finish. We have no improvement over last season. He was consistantly bad throughout his stint at Goodison. It wasn't him that saved us from relegation. Awful on field decisions, awful recruitment. Bringing in another manager could do nothing and we end up relegated, but a new manager could turn things aroud like Howe did with Newcastle. There's no better time to pull the triger now before it's too late. We are going nowhere with Lampard.

I know it is unpopular opinion, but I think Roberto can get us out of this mess at least only temporary.

Haiku got a reaction from Bailey in Serhou Guirassy
Because he's not their first choice striker, Gaetan Laborde is. Rennes supporters fancy the chance of selling him to Everton and bringing someone better in. They think he lacks technical ability and that he doesn't suite Rennes fast paced football. That's pretty much a consensus on their forums.

Haiku got a reaction from KinL in Serhou Guirassy
That's true, but it's not as simple as converting minutes to full matches. Oumar Niasse would have 9 goals in just a little over 16 games for us, which is even greater return. If nothing else, that makes Guirassy a prolific bench striker, but there are doubts he's good enough for a regular starter.

Haiku reacted to SpartyBlue in Serhou Guirassy
Perhaps not but when he was regularly only get 10 or 20 minutes at the end of a match it’s still better to judge per 90.
He may simply not be good enough to start for them as you suggest.

Haiku got a reaction from chicagoblue in Sasa Kalajdzic
Yeah well, Lorenzo is a gem in football manager, but in reality all he got is a run of 6 goals in 6 matches in Italian Serie B and then season long dry patch. Nowhere near ready for top league football. Furthermore he already signed for Ajax.
Stats wise that Sasa lad is more mature, but apparently missed half a season with shoulder injury. Also what strikes me he caught COVID 3 times last season.

It does opened. Free transfers will go through on July 1st, because all player's contracts run out at that date.

Why? He took 5 points away from Burnley this month.

Haiku got a reaction from Heath in Richarlison
I just hope he doesn't leave for another team in the prem. Though I can't see him excel at top clubs like Real and Barca. I think he is best suited for clubs like Sevilla, Napoli, Marseille, who play continental football every year, but are not at the top.

Haiku got a reaction from Bailey in Arsenal (Away) 22nd May
This is embarrassing. Just highlights the season we have gone through. A lot to be asked from Lampard next season. His understanding of tactical side must improve along with the playing staff.
