I would like to see Holgate, he is the only defender we have who can spot danger, and deal with it, the rest react, usually to late. IMO

That's 2 solid performances on the bounce, very pleased with the spirt that's now evident.
On the down side that's a big loss with Alan, a month at least the way he could not walk off the pitch.
Yes VAR got it right, but you never make a tackle like that from behind in the box, big fan of Gomes, but he's not the same player since his injury, hopefully he will get there.

The last thing we want is another one paced midfielder, who so negative he has to turn his shirt around so you thing he's attacking.

At last after 6 awful games, a team turns up with a fighting spirit.
I have to say where has been, well done lads, i will sleep well.

We can not play that system without our 2 first choice fullbacks, so why doe s he try?
Iwobi is just not good enough for a team like ours that wants to progress, only plays about 20 mins each match.
He switches off, plays people on side, and his crossing is worse than wallcots.
But he is not the only one, the midfield was non existent for long spells, Charli just strolled about a lot of the time.
I have said it before, the least we should do is match the opponents work rate, we haven't for the last 6 matches.
All teams we play look fitter than us, and more determined than us, that's unforgivable.

I think the 2 C/H are better at playing statues than football, they just dont work for me.
Neither talks or takes control, and neither sees any danger coming.
On a plus great reaction from the team after the equaliser .

We were awful, flat no idea, no confidence, one thing you have to do in every game as a minimum is work harder than they did. why even if with or without players, does our work rate drop so much. as for that clown in goal im speechless.
Only Coleman earned his money today.

Should have saved it.  Henderson barely got a full boot on it and hit across the ball.  The issue was the angle of the hand  - it was a ramp.
He made a top class save earlier and my point is a keeper who makes saves of that quality should not be making the fundamental errors he does.
That's the last I'm speaking of that, it's been and done. The goal was chalked off, he knew he should have done better based on his reaction.  We move on.

I think the only reason people think he saves us more points than he costs us, is because we are scoring plenty at the moment, apart from the Spurs game where he played well, and we grabbed a goal, he will cost us points in tight games.

We paid 27mil euros, at that time was not a lot, we wondered how a kid with so much potential was sold so cheap.
    Now we know.

It surprises me no one on tv has mentioned VAR involvement in Bournemouth's relegation, Villa stayed up because they did not allow Sheff utd goal that clearly crossed the line.
I know you are relegated over 38 games, but without that howler Villa would be down. Mr Oliver has a lot to answer for.
