MikeO
He got Drenthe or R. R. Drenthe which is the official one and looks like shite?! Strange....must be so we know it's him and not one of the other Drenthes in the league .
Wall Writer
Just watched the highlights and his post-match interview (from the ressies match), and the more I see him, the more I like him. he comes across with a really good attitude, I hope he can keep that up, and we get to see some good things from him. Yeah he really seemed to be up for it...celebrated his goal big time and jumped in (maybe too much) when McAleny was fouled.

Also, nice to see in the interview, him mentioning 'good players' like Maggie, Conor, Seamus, and Barkley. I think that says a lot about the youth we've got. Never too much!!! I love him already and he's only played 20mins plus a reserve game - instant legend!

Bill
Took me back to the Roy Vernon Alex young partnership, Alex was so good at the deft flick headers putting the ball into Roys path, they where a really good partnership. Matt
looked quick to me when he could be arsed..seems very casual though when tryin to beat a man and didn't really do much other than the goal i thought that too. A bit different to the previous cameo. Im trying to hold judgement until hes had a few games cant get carried away too much on 60 mins against 2 average teams. smeghead1
Does anyone else think this lad could play as a forward? The way he ran thru onto Stracs knock on put me more in mind of a striker than a winger. Lets face facts when we have a few injuries we'l see how he gets on at lb, rb, cm, and forward!!
