I would be concerned that this leaves us pretty pedestrian with only Sandro and Bolasie as our pace. In fairness it doesn't affect Spurs but look at the impact of Mane being out last year for Liverpool, it made them too predictable. Likelihood is that if both sign either one or both of our two pace men won't play.

We also have Lookman.

This, we could really do with more pace in the team, it just means come match day our passing game will have to be spot on with little room for errors.

He's been 100% So far.

He said we'd signed a left back weeks and weeks ago, also that Rooney would be no. 9 and he's no. 10.

I'm not saying he doesnt have links with the club, but he's far from 100%.

Main issue is that the players we have signed and are most strongly linked with (Sigurdsson and Giroud) are not very quick, apart from Sandro perhaps. The assumption being that they will be first choice rather than Mirallas and Lookman.

Team composition is definitely different from that lot's, we are not going to play in a similar style. Counter-attacks won't be as devastating. On the other hand packed defenses make pace much less effective and to me it looks like this is something Koeman is trying to build against. Both Sandro and Rooney are good at shooting from distance and Sigurdsson is one of the best set-piece takers in PL and also good from the range.

It wasn't a question of sacking him- more a "I wouldn't be arsed if he left tomorrow" type of thing.

I don't get how anyone here can say that having now worked with him especially after he has likely had such a big impact on improving Rom and no doubt DCL too.

If we broughtBergkamp in and let him go it would be a massive upgrade- I'm not saying I want him sacked but I wouldn't be arsec if we upgraded him.
