gethinO
My hate for them gets worse with every season I think. I know I may be biased as an Evertonian but I honestly think they're one of the luckiest teams ever. As you said, everything seems to go for them, be it deflected goals (coutinho tonight) or just general refereeing decisions. Lucky pricks. I want a season where we beat them HOME and AWAY and finish above them. Then I'll go right into their horrible little faces. And then I'll have a comment about their history, as ever. We finished above them the last two seasons, they've out spent us as far back as I can remember, and yes they are very lucky. Gerrard will not be around for ever, he made the first goal with a wonder pass and scored the pen......how many goals has he created this season, how many years has he pulled them through, how many trophies has he won for them! They have the two most inform strikers in the prem.....but Gerrard pulls the strings.

johnh
Sterling and Sturridge must practise diving for hours on end. Liverpool must get more penalties than any other club. We had a cast iron penalty against Spurs - not given. Maybe we should invite Sterling or Sturridge to training to give us some tips.
Bailey
Apparently theres was cast iron tonight according to SS. They had their fair share of bad luck with Toure's howler tonight too.

He has got good drive for his team everything else he is pretty average I think.

pete0
The pens we concede compared to the ones we don't get is ridiculous. City match being the best example. http://www.refereedecisions.co.uk/ref-review-2012-2013-wrong-penalty-decisions-a-closer-look/

Guest Nikica
It really was like watching a John Beck side... He really has done well in football due to the "Peter Principle" http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Peter_Principle I've heard of that. It seems like something which would be easily dismissed but Moyes is the exception which proves the rule, lol. I hope Liverpool management team think like you because I see Gerrard as more of a weak link to be honest. He has got good drive for his team everything else he is pretty average I think. Agreed (not that he's average but that he gets too much credit). He's taken the credit for their success for years. "Gerrard pulled them through" etc. it's a load of bollocks - he used to pop up with a late screamer and people would say "Gerrard saves Liverpool again!" The reason they needed saved was because Gerrard couldn't control the game in the first place. No real surprise that Liverpool's best PL team had Alonso at its heartbeat, not Gerrard (Alonso is a superior midfielder to Gerrard, which is why RM signed him and not Gerrard). Look at the way he was given all the credit for Istanbul: Kaka was running rings around him in the first half and the game only changed when Hamann came on and Gerrard was moved out of midfield. Gerrard has become a more disciplined player in his latter years but I'm putting that down to him not having the legs to run around like a headless chicken. He's a very overrated player in Britain on account of the fact that he plays a style of football that British people generally love. The idea that he's been carrying them for years is nonsense, quite frankly. Gerrard 'carrying Liverpool' is a Sky invention which has no basis in reality or tactical thought. Edit: to be fair to the guy he has done really well in this holding role over the last twelve to eighteen months. As I say though I'm not sure how much of that has been forced on him due to his loss of legs. He still deserves credit for that, but he was overrated in his prime. Guest Nikica
Apparently Mourinho has said "Wenger is a specialist in failure, I'm not". He should try telling that to Real Madrid where Valdano hated him and he's still hated by players and fans. He was a complete failure there, finishing miles behind Barca in the two seasons where they didn't give RM the league. He's an utter cock this guy. Needs a good kicking or 8. Wenger is a class act. markjazzbassist
Arsenal looking a lot better and great scramble goal by ox. The shite players all must practice diving because every little tiny touch they do a swan dive. Gerard is playing dirty as usual today should have another yellow card and be off for that foul on flamini. I think the gunners will take it. pete0
Shocking that Webb shit out and called Gerrard over, yellow even possible red for Sterling then. How the fuck can the league run respect campaigns for the officials when they let the Sky teams tell the refs how to do their job and don't get the same punishment as the rest of the league.
