It’s going to be a long time before we are fighting for Europe again, that much is obvious. But a new stadium and perhaps better people behind the scenes inc. at board level is the best we can hope for at the moment? 

When they flip us, we'll be financially dependent again because the stadium will have been sold to the highest bidder and we'll be paying a lot to be there.

The line I was taking was that we’d be sold as a package, stadium and all.

Of course, they could well sell off all the assets separately, and probably make a lot more money that way.

Who knows what they’ll end up doing.

Is this due to Moshiri lying about putting money into the club then? We can't really have lost his 500m and this too, right??

Is there a chance he's acted as guarantor for these loans and hasn't actually put money in? That would be the smart businessman move.

Change the 1st point to stadium is finished and we own it and I agree.

There was a good interview with a Football finance journalist on BBC Merseyside radio this evening, it can be listened to in BBC sounds app on Total Sport Merseyside it ran from just after 6pm for 10 mins or so. He sounded as if he knows his stuff, and is a blue also.

I said months ago that we were in financial trouble (no free cash flow) and Moshri did not want to (or could not) put money into the club. That was met with misunderstanding. Yes he had money (not sure how liquid it is) but he was clearly not wanting to put money in. That’s another reason why our transfer deals have had to be on very specific terms (not just FFP).

I for one could not care who buys the club because we won’t be in a worse position that we are now - no cash flow, negative operating margins, an owner who won’t put more in (and probably shouldn’t to be honest).

Let’s wipe the slate clean, get rid of Moshri and Blue Bill…and see where it takes us. I don’t see how we can be worse off.

Seems we’ve gone from being worried about 777, to some even bigger shit show than we might have known.

Now we just needing someone to take control and show some actual leadership, hopefully getting the club in shape. 
 

I know there is a lot of scepticism about 777, but I just want them in the door asap just to see the others out of here. 
 

We need a fresh start and I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt until they give me a reason not to. 
I don’t see why they would sell the new stadium, though I understand the concern. If you want to flip the club for a profit selling it with its assets intact, rather than just being tenants, will be of a higher value. 
 

I hope it happens quickly.
