Cornish Steve
We're in the final stages of the season. Who would you pick for best player of the season? For me, it's a difficult choice. Barkley has been a stand-out, although he's been inconsistent. Lukaku is our leading scorer by far. Howard has been as strong as ever. Coleman has improved immensely. But I would have to choose McCarthy - for both impact and consistency. He's a real terrier who never gives up.
Lowensda
McCarthy. Coleman. Barry. Lukaku.
NyarkosLeftToe
McCarthy Coleman Barry Baines Distin Barkley will probably win Young Player (If McCarthy is too old for it) but he's been too inconsistent to even be considered for the main award. barryj
McCarthy - quietly goes on about his business with minimum of fuss. Quality player, younger and better than his predecessor. Bargain.

MikeO
Coleman is 25, I don't think that's a young player. Hands down Barkley potentially Stones He wasn't/isn't an option....need to be twenty three or under at the start of the season. Went for McCarthy/Barkley/Barkley v Newcastle. Cornish Steve
Barkley's goal against Newcastle worked out, but, if it hadn't, we'd be wondering why he didn't pass to Lukaku for the easier option. Personally, I think Deulofeu's goal against Arsenal was better - given the context, venue, and how well it was taken.

marcus jones
Coleman by a country mile for me as player of the season. At his best so influential, and as GR posted, ''goal of the season''. Ross for young player. Really impressed with Howard this year though. In fact I didn't know our players had the ability to actually play like they had! Bill
McCarthy, More Man of the Match wins than any other player (7), and also more individual votes. It hurts me to say. Only Kidding, he,s exceeded all my expectations this season, and the only one who runs him close is Barkley. Matt and Sibdane
Blue 250
Coleman for me. Very few games this season at below or even average. The big question for me is can he get even better. McCarthy has had a great first season with us and Distin for his age has been very good.
Newty82
Coleman POTS...been superb this season. 6 goals from RB?! Creates chances, steam trains opponent's, and I'm sure I've seen him start doing step overs!!! Barkley YPOTS....started off brilliant, went througha bad spell (learning curve!), will be going to Brazil for a nice holiday, and is starting to look even better just now. Guest Nikica
I won't pretend to have saw as much of Everton this season (or any season) as you guys have, but I've probably seen 10-15 live games, plus some highlights. In that time McCarthy has impressed me the most. He's your Busquets - goes about his job in an understated fashion but is vital to your game plan. I really like him. Second would be Coleman as I think he's probably the best/most on-form RB in English football right now.
BlueBlood81
I voted McCarthy as POTS with Seamus a close second. Ross YPOTS with Rom and Stones not far behind. Seamus vs Soton as GOTS. (Had to watch all the goals a good few times and that made my day!)
Vranny
POTS: McCarthy, Barry, Howard YPOTS: Lukaku, Barkley, Stones GOTS: Ross v Newcastle - There were certainly no shortage of options though.
