I think Baines penalty miss sums it all up. It just isn't happening.

We have created one chance. And I hate to say it but for the 3rd game running, we look boring. We really are emphasising a more cautious approach, which is understandable. But then we have nothing in the final 3rd.

Big problems to solve here.

Frustrating half. We haven't been bad but they have troubled us all game with crosses into the box. Can't really do a great deal about the goal other than to stop the cross.

Shocking pen from Baines but it was a very good build up. We haven't created a lot but our touch has let us down in the final third or when opportunities have arrived mainly McGeady, Lukaku, Naismith and Pienaar.

The main difference between the 2 teams has been Di Maria. He is having a bit of a field day down our right unsurprisingly and he is making them tick in the final third.

Considering Pienaar isn't fully up to speed I think he has put in a real good shift. If only McGeady could do the same on the other side.

That's probably killed any hope of us getting back into this.

We haven't missed McCarthy and this is something I'd like to point out to Hafnia. Last season he was described as the "lynch pin". Absolute bollocks. If you haven't got attacking players like Mirallas the wheels don't even turn. The most important players are those who can play in the final third. If you haven't got them you end up seeing what we've seen for the past 3 weeks. Absolutely nothing in the final third.

Our attacking players are letting us down:

1) Lukaku's timidity is really getting to me. He should be playing for his life, chase lost causes, and make life a living hell for Man Utd. His defeatist attitude angers me.

2) McGeady: I guess he is the one he always was.

3) Pienaar: Too slow and too lightweight. He is no longer good enough for this level.

Oviedo should come on for Pienaar.

Pienaar is playing his usual game. Lukaku is being supplied with no fuel. Mcgeady is useless.

If McGeady is useless, then what is Pienaar...

Yeah let's just throw all the attackers we have on eh, we getting slaughtered down the right? Guess what McCarthy does? Covers right back. We haven't missed McCarthy? Explain?

if mirallas or Barkley aren't playing you lose interest in anything else.

You were another he called him the lynch pin. He's nothing of the sort. Overrated

I was and am. But if you would bother to read, all his supporters from last season have acknowledged he has been disappointing this season.

Also, no one has even questioned Kevs influence or importance either.

Anyway, back to the game. Get Etoo on for Pienaar

Bold: yes quite right because we're shite without them.

McCarthy is a bog standard midfielder. Nothing special. He's certainly no lynch pin. Ain't missed him one bit. We're missing the real players.
