Gone with Gana, not sure long he can keep this up, but an excellent performance today. Onana is going to benefit for playing alongside him.

Gray was close. Excellent goal and was our most dangerous player.

Pickford made some excellent saves, and decision making was excellent.

Was actually hard to pick someone here, which is nice.

Gana was great & back to what we should expect from him.

Gray showed a moment of what he is truly capable of. One of the most naturally talented players I can remember. It’s up to him how good he can be.

Godfrey - got the vote for me. Took up the mantle of Haaland & whilst he scored, Godfrey made it an uncomfortable night for him. For a game back from injury, immense.

Coleman also deserves a shout, thought he came on & played at a very good level. So much respect for him.

Not surprising. They both look after the ball well. This is why I think Onana will benefit next to them. His passing was awful yesterday, but he was aiming for the right passes if that makes sense.
Once he hits that sweet spot it will click for him.

Having watched the game yesterday that stat really surprised me especially with Gana, in the first half I thought his contribution was poor, in the second half he had a 10-15 minute period where he was immense in winning the ball and good forward passing, then he was taken off which to be honest surprised me and surprised him by his reaction.

I'm wondering if he was taken off to rest him for Tuesday's game, knowing that Onana was gonna be unavailable. Onana got the yellow in the 63rd minute, Gana went off 15 mins later.

I'm likely just grasping at straws but trying to find some sort of reasoning behind that substitution 🤷🏼‍♂️

I wouldn't like to say dunlopp but it was a strange one.

According to Whoscored, Iwobi had 100% but from just 16 passes and Gana had 94.7 from 19 (2 key). They both had an unsuccessful cross though the waste of spaces 🤣

As a comparison though, Rodri attempted 104 passes but only at 86.4%. Useless.
