But I always felt that he wasn't living up to it. He did well for us for a few matches though I do admit. Just not sure if it was true form or playing his socks of to impress. Just think of Barkley - looked like a bag of shite for Leeds, could barely get a game (not entirely his fault), but has shown he's capable of tearing up the PL. It's no secret I rate Garbutt, I have done since we got him here, but I think he deserves a closer look before we discard him. If the likes of McAleny are still here then someone like Garbutt shouldn't be put on the scrap heap for at least a couple of years yet. He's very rarely looked good for England IMO, because they've never played the way we do where he is a big part of our attack.
