It was know in the summer we where desperate for offensive additions, in the January window we somehow managed to make us weaker.  
Dyche has come in and he is fire fighting at this club with a fucking water pistol. Problem here has been in the making long before Dyche arrived.
We don't have enough quality in the final third, played the whole season without a striker or goal scoring midfielders - it only going to end one way.
I can't really tell what Dyche is really like until he gets a fair crack at the whip with the club. He's working under pretty shit circumstances.
With regards to Villa - Shove an in form Ollie Watkins as the main striker in the teams Dyche has been putting out and I am confident more point will have been on the board. Even now DCL is miles form match fitness and sharpness. 
Not scoring goals inevitably puts massive stress on the defense and it crumbles
 

I thought we had the better of the play until we went 2 down and as is the case with us it was just that bit of quality that held us back. The one time we showed quality and the fucking thing is ruled out for offside.
After that it was just a fucking nightmare.

Terrible result, but not really unexpected. I'm just hoping we can get something (two wins) from the Leicester and Brighton games.

That’s a sobering thought and not one I’m not prepared to accept. Call it burying your head in the sand if you like but that is not my psyche we are staying up end of. 💪🏻👊

Yeh it was a really great touch and turn, I suppose the disappointment was that he didnt test the keeper. It all came from a thump upfield by Pickford with Dom easily able to knock Anderson off the ball. 
He had the half chance with the header too (first half) which he tried to flick on rather than try and angle with power at goal but it was really tough. He bullied Guehi for that one who IMO is massively overrated. He is too weak to be a centre half.
I doubt he will get as much change from Newcastle's CBs as he did from Palace's but even if he turns a handful of them long balls into possession, its a lot better conversion than we will get with any other centre forward.

Holgate was a mistake waiting to happen, he’s full of his own over belief, look at him during the warm up before games, it look like he thinks he’s Messi. SD should have pulled him at half time, being on a yellow was always going to end up horrible, and it did just that.

Agree with the first bit but not the second, we still have eighteen points to play for so potentially finishing on 46, which would be safe as houses. Still in our own hands which is all we can ask for at this stage.
But as you say, at 3.00 we'd all have taken the point I think.

I’m not arsed about the score at Chester, it’s the ones in the PL that concern me, along with hopefully getting DCL towards match fitness as he changes the dynamic of the way we play, for the good that is BTW.

I think that’s really disrespectful towards Naismith, Maupay has shown virtually nothing so far, Naismith proved his worth, and many have commented on how we missed him when he moved on.

basically it was poor striker play, whichever way we try and dress it up.  He hit it arm height when the keeper was stood up.  I just don't ever want to see him in a blue shirt again.  Not because of the miss -  because he offers absolutely nothing and doesn't care.
