Full of pride for the fight against the odds, all of that fear that used to be there under Frank has well and truly gone.
SD has made the shirt precious again, lovely to see my old school pal Mick Lyons as well.

Didn't have a single shot, but worked his ass off. Chased lost causes and held it when he had chance.

I’ve got no issues at all with dyche and actually think if we go down he’s the right man to get us back up.

but it’s a fuckin piss take that we nearly missed out on him due to moshiri being moshiri and also the fact that he should have been in place pre World Cup.

Still affected by fans getting on his back, turn into angry poor decision making man, not what we need to stay up.
Just as bad when we play Newcastle, im sure a lot more opposition fans will give him a hard time.
Has his best games at home, i would cash in on him in the summer.

Has anyone checked under the local buses for him today? Because our players certainly threw him under one last night.

Fuck me, none of the useless cunts. There's not a player that can hold their heads even half up.

    That was fucking revolting.
We all know we're going to lose games, and particularly against them at Mordor, but the least I expect is to compete in every game. That was anything but competing. Embarrassing. Inept. Incompetent. Gutless. I could fucking go on but you get the point.
At no time in that game were we even matching them. We were already in the fucking Championship the distance between the two sides was that great. The most galling thing is that they weren't even that good, they didn't need to be. They should have scored more than 2 but the two they scored we absolutely fucking gifted them. What has happened to players taking one for the team and cynically fouling players?! The Southampton game wasn't even that long ago when we should've taken the player out on the half way line. How many times are sides going to break on us before we fucking learn?! For fucks sake, we didn't even learn from the shites first goal. We are fucking slow, so cut the break off before it causes damage. It's not rocket science. This might be the most unintelligent set of players I have ever had the misfortune to watch.

Pickford - He made some decent saves but what the fuck was he doing for their first goal?! I'm not asking him to stay rooted to his line but don't come out that far, make him have to make a decision rather than handing him an open bastard goal.
    Coleman - Just fuck off.
Tarkowski - Has he played football before?
Coady - He can fuck off with Coleman. Absolute embarrassment for that second goal.
Mykolenko - Back to the form before the last game where you're wondering if he's even a footballer.
Iwobi - My word, he was back to being the Iwoeful I'd have given away. Much like he gave the ball away at every given opportunity.
Gana - Did we swap him for a hologram tonight?
Onana - Where was that powerful, proactive player from last week? Lackadaisical to say the least.
McNeil - If he didn't have a left foot he'd be playing for our disabled side.
Doucoure - Supposed to be supporting the striker but he couldn't have supported a fucking breadcrumb this evening.
Simms - He was very, very poor, but I can't find it in me to criticise him too much because he should not be here. He should still be at Sunderland so we can sell him in the summer for a few million. The incompetence of those in charge means that he had to be thrown in at the deep end, and now someone is going to have to perform CPR on him after he drowned out there tonight.

Numb with rage, not just no signings, not just the only club not to strengthen, but to weaken.
But to have players come out and say they would not sign for Everton, This board could not take us any lower, not even if went down, than to be ridiculed in public as we have been, i hope the fans give them what for on Saturday.
This is exactly why they waited till Monday afternoon to appoint SD, as for a DOF, in the words of Jim Royal DOF my arse.

This will be why the goons in the board room were trying to keep Franks sacking quiet, and not announcing it till long after ssn.

National journos now running the story that it actually happened, match of the day stating it as fact.
one man behind this, the man who has his journos and likes to lie. Means to an end and all that.
the club has literally thrown the people who got the team to survive last season to the lions. Disgusting.
We will not see that bunch back at goodison and they should be resigning.

I said time and time again that our board under kenwright was as toxic as it gets. You are seeing why we are where we are. Good professionals with integrity do not work under gobshites like this.  This is why good people have walked away from Everton.

The talk of Martinez is suicidal to me.  He always refused to drop the passing game at all costs and in the position we are in we can't afford to start trying to get that right.
His style of play also requires the kind of quality creative players that we don't have.  He's enjoyed a few years of KDB in his side, he'd be going back to McNeil, Gordon, Gray and Iwobi!  (highest XGA for our players is 0.15 per game, KDB has 0.5 in premier league!).
    --
Lampard has shown both last season and in games like the Man City one that he can get the team up for the fight and well organised enough to keep a side out.
If you are going to play counter attack you are a lot less reliant on real quality creative players, you need players well drilled in making a quick break and making sure they look up for quick passes to pick out other runners.  Richarlison was well suited to the counter as he had pace, could run at people and well having to play hold up was good at winning a foul.
DCL isn't quite so good but is decent on hold up.
Iwobi, Gordon and Gray should all be very capable in this and both did ok last season when needing to play that way.

As you've said @RuffRob this is a way we can play if we have to and if we don't have the resources to invest in improvements to the squad it is probably the best way forwards at the moment.  Obviously, in some games you can be more expansive than others, pressing further up the field but as we've consistently found that we can't open teams up when they have players behind the ball we need to look at going with this approach for the most part

It was said last year we are the worst run club in Europe, nothing has changed, whilst it will be Frank who carries the can, its the owners we need out of the club.

I just hope they show the spirit they showed against the shite, and city, and not what they showed against wolves and Bournemouth.
Its no good just being up for it in so called big games, When in fact the teams around us are the big games.
Although Brighton  are not in a relegation battle, they are home game we must win.

Absolutely this cannot be laid fairly and squarely at the door of Lampard, the board of directors and the owner are the biggest reason for our demise over 7 year reign. I truly believe that relegation is coming this season and will turn out to be a blessing in disguise, we need the time and opportunity to completely strip back and rebuild for a better future, the buying of players of poor quality every season just to try and fight off relegation is becoming a huge drain on the club financially and the supporters emotionally, sometimes constantly fighting the same battle doesn't win you the war, you need to accept your losses pull back and give yourself time to rebuild and rethink your strategies, then come back more stronger and more competitive. As a fan base I think it's time to acknowledge and accept our fate, then hopefully enjoy the rebuild and better football. Personally I would love Rooney to come back and organise the rebuild on the playing side of things, and a new owner with a new board.  We can all dream I know but we need something symbolic to get away from this nightmare, and relegation could be the answer and opportunity we need.

Not really. Pretty predictable as we look like a team more likely to concede than score.
when we attack we are more likely to give the ball away.

im not sure lampard has the ears of the players.
