Vranny
Naismith has made it 2-0 Naismith's been in good form playing up front for the Scots from all accounts. Could be an option for us to use him there in the case of any Lukaku injury, especially considering Jelavic's terrible last 12 months. Naismith should only be considered to play further up the pitch, he just doesn't cut it as a winger.

You won't get any disagreements from me. Don't know why he's never been given a chance behind a lone striker tbh.
Bailey
Martinez kind of does let him play off the striker. Obviously in defence he stays wide and keeps his shape but in attack you very rarely ever see him wide right.
Avinalaff
Naisy has amazingly quick turns. The winger comment reminded me of his Real Madrid movement. One of the best turns I've seen. Left the guy for dead.

"I had a slight doubt but the reaction from the players was clear - nobody was against [the decision],". "I checked with Kiessling. But no-one, not even him, said that it wasn't a goal. The ball was in the net and for everyone on the pitch it was a legitimate goal." Kiessling knew full well it didn't go in (as did others), you can tell from his reaction.. Fearthainn
Yeah, poor attitude from the Leverkusen players. I'm sure some of them must have been feeling confused but Kiessling in particular should be able to understand what happened.

pete0
its a terrible game though. Not much between them so at least it's competitive, but not much found quality-wise. Looks more like a game between relegation candidates, v.hard to believe Liverpool are top of the league. Matt

Avinalaff
Suarez is an amazing player. I think both he and Sturridge will form a huge partnership. Why don't we play 2 strikers?
