Coleman. I told all my friends that Seamus Coleman will be the best RB in the league in the near future. I'm glad he's proving me right.

Ever since he assisted them two goals against Spurs (need I explain in any more detail?) I said he's going to be a top, top player.

The best thing about it is you bearly see anyone sniffing around with him.

Touch wood.

Coleman/McCarthy for being our most positive players... Coleman just for the goal nicked it.

Mirallas and Lukaku really disappointed me today - Mirallas' decision making was poor and as a result needed an extra touch on countless occasions when he got the ball... but still we win so fingers crossed on an upturn in form for them both!

No one player clearly stood out head and shoulders above the rest of the squad to me, but out of my top three candidates (Coleman, Barkley, and McCarthy) I voted narrowly for Barkley because through all the tight marking and fighting for possession he always felt the likeliest to make something happen if anyone ever did. I was thinking for a big part of the second half that this could end up being a match where we miss having Baines, because a perfectly weighted touch on a set piece could be the difference in such a tight contest. Lo and behold....

I thought McCarthy was immense today, long rangy getting about the park. Breaking things up, great touch and if you watch organising aswell. The lad has it all. My favourite player. What a bargain.

strange isn't it how we all watch the same game but see things so differently.

Of course I am the one who is right

Seriously is it any wonder there is so much discussion on varied topics? Keep it up guys, it is what makes the forum go round and incidentally keeps the mods earning their pay

Coleman,

Not just his goal but constant threat and solid defending.

One minute he ran the ball out for a goal kick and 60 seconds later he covered in our penalty area when a through ball was played, it was offside but he still had it covered.

He was a defender's nightmare today.

And what a strike!

I think it's mostly a result of the team. Last year, though certainly not EVERY game, we could usually bank of Baines, Fellaini, or Mirallas being our main guy or at least close to it. This season we're having a much more consistent effort from 1 to 11 and each game sees a different cast of players rising to the top. A lot harder to single out individuals, and that's a good thing.
