not to mention you fire him now you have the fine choices of Allardyce, Pardew, Moyes, De Boer, and other ilk.

I don't think Koeman went from being a manager who guided Southampton to 7th and 6th place finishes and taking us from 11th to 7th to a manager who is completely inept, clueless, and incompetent overnight. We went through some major changes this summer and it will take some time to progress and move forward. If we aren't significantly improved by Christmas, I'd be thinking about changing managers, but we've had slow starts before (Moyes...) and gotten better as the year has gone on.

Clearly, Williams is past it, Martina is not good enough for anything except Cup matches. We need a #9, some pace out wide, and to strengthen out wide, ideally with pace. All of this in addition to jelling all the new squad members who just arrived this summer.

sanity in the koeman thread, a rarity.  i agree with you on the above, sadly the mob has started and i'm sure the koeman out chants will only gather as the year goes on.

Matt.... he has no clear plan. It's as plain as day - the players have no direction at all.

More players/less players. Still the same clown coaching them.

I'm not arguing mate. Tactics changing amongst players who know each other is not as bad as changing tactics amongst strangers

We don't have the players to play 5-3-2 or 3-4-3 (however you want to describe 3 at the back) and we don't have the players to play 4-2-3-1 so it's reverting back to square pegs in round holes. In the days of Moyes you could almost forgive the square pegs in round holes due to working on a tight budget but, after investing how we did this summer, there's no excuses. Koeman needs to get a settled team and system asap as after Man U we've got a run of must win games - fail to win 5/6 back to back then that's when I think questions will begin to be asked. People maybe asking questions already but actually - based on last season's progression - it would be counter productive at this stage.

Please eat humble pie and do what's best for the club.

get Barkley back, and get Niasse on the bench at least. The guy is scoring for fun at U23 level.

yea it's a different level, but if we can't call for Niasse, then we have no right call for any U23 player.

again HE IS INJURED.  there is no getting back  regardless of firing/hiring/new manager Ross will be out til Christmas.  FFS

I think we're talking about getting Ross back on board mentally/emotionally rather than sticking a crocked lad on the pitch Mark.

Guarantee he's as pig-sick as the rest of us fans after the last couple of games.
