markjazzbassist Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 calvert lewin with the sitter. well done. 4-1, and 1 point away from winning the league. Quote
MikeO Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Five points clear with two games left and a much better GD than City, good on the lads. markjazzbassist 1 Quote
markjazzbassist Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Sambou looks extremely quick. yes and great defending and pressure, doesn't look as clinical as calvert lewin though Quote
Romey 1878 Posted April 10, 2017 Author Report Posted April 10, 2017 Goal by DCL. Did he play as a striker? Quote
Sibdane Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Did he play as a striker? Yep -- led the line. Quote

MikeO Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 calvert lewin with the sitter. well done. 4-1, and 1 point away from winning the league. Two points really, if we just pick up a draw and lose the other and City win both theirs an eight goal advantage isn't really enough to be certain. Quote

Romey 1878 Posted April 10, 2017 Author Report Posted April 10, 2017 Yep -- led the line. yes middle of the front 3 Good. I don't think he's got enough about him to be anything other than that. Quote
markjazzbassist Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Good. I don't think he's got enough about him to be anything other than that. yeah looked like lookman on the left and dowell on the right. williams looks lively, never seen him before. if they live stream these matches i might watch more of them. Romey 1878 Posted April 10, 2017 Author Report Posted April 10, 2017 Glad Lookman played and scored too. Quote
London Blue Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 (edited) Well played U23's. Looks like first half was poor then Unsy ripped them a new one, and they then ripped Spurs one! Good performances from Galloway, Sambou, DCl, Lookman, Dowell and Besic - well second half anyway. Edited April 10, 2017 by London Blue markjazzbassist 1 Quote
markjazzbassist Posted April 10, 2017 Report Posted April 10, 2017 Glad Lookman played and scored too. he looked good. dowell did too. sambou goal was a stunner, but he missed 2-3 other chances pretty badly. he's only 19 so let's hope he gets more clinical in front of goal because he worked his ass off from the moment he was subbed on. Newty82 Posted April 21, 2017 Report Posted April 21, 2017 Could have wrapped the league up tonight. Drew 2-2 at Chelsea. Chelsea keeper had a blinder. 1 game left. 6 points clear of City. City a game in hand. City next game is Liverpool. Everton last game is Liverpool at Anfield. Hmmmm. markjazzbassist 1 Quote

Eight to the good in the GD department though so we'd be very unlucky to lose it, City need two comfortable wins if we were to lose at Anfield, unless we lose 7-0 . Quote

Well, in the case that we end up at the same points it would mean City would have won two games and we'd have lost one. That would decrease the GD quite a lot in any case. Quote
