Shukes Posted November 19, 2017 Report Posted November 19, 2017 Not doing too bad though, 6 wins from the previous 7 matches and a chance to go top. Wouldn’t say it’s that bad. Quote

Bailey Posted January 23, 2018 Report Posted January 23, 2018 These lads look class. The pace and energy throughout the team is great. They do lack a little but if quality in the final third but up to the edge of the box they are brilliant. Strikers sprinting to close down, the player losing the ball sprinting to win it back. I can't imagine Pompey are any good but they are barely out of their half. Quote
Bailey Posted January 23, 2018 Report Posted January 23, 2018 1 up! Really nice ball and finish. Fraser Hornby with a great ball, really impressed by him. Quote
pete0 Posted January 23, 2018 Report Posted January 23, 2018 More enjoyable than watching the first team. Weird seeing Everton shirts over the half way line and a ball at their feet. nutmegwolf203, Bailey and plaidharper 3 Quote
Bailey Posted January 23, 2018 Report Posted January 23, 2018 Mrs came back so missed half hours worth of the game and we have scored 2 more. Commentators saying the keeper is their Motm. Quote

Bill Posted January 23, 2018 Report Posted January 23, 2018 Thought Benni played well, and Garbutt is much better than Cuco. Quote

Benni looked like a first team player against kids. He made the game look simple. He covers ground as well. Evans was a bright spark but I think he needs more competitive first team games to man him up a bit. Hornby was really good too, he has a bit of everything. I think he will do well on loan. It's crazy to think how good they were when we probably have another u23 eleven in the first team or on loan. Quote
MikeO Posted January 24, 2018 Report Posted January 24, 2018 Goals are at 45'20", 1'19"20 & 1'39"10 if you don't want to sit all the way through it; could have been a lot more but their 'keeper had a blinder. Quote

Shukes Posted February 13, 2018 Report Posted February 13, 2018 Surprised we managed to hold on to that. I wat he’s the first 50 minutes and they battered us. Our players were playing ten yard passes to each at chest height. Defence was awful in the first half... really awful. It was like being in a derby with chances coming at you from everywhere. No idea how they didn’t score. We must have improved a lot in the last 40 mins. Quote
