Siggy should still be putting more pressure on Sanchez, though he never had a chance of winning the header. Don't have to win the header just put him off. DCL and Keane get some blame as well. I'll admit when Siggy came here I was a fan. He was decent when we were down and out under Koeman/Sam. The last 18 months have soured me forever. He is now, and will always be, one of my least favorite blues.

He had no chance of winning the header, but as you say could have done a thousand things more to stop that goal. He could have jumped into the man and stopped him from getting his head to the ball that way, nothing OTT to draw the foul but a shoulder in the back to knock him off balance as he jumps. As it happens it was a free header from six yards that the lad is never going to miss. That goal is just a proper, proper mess IMO. The kind of defending you'd have expected when Spurs played Marine. Zoo 2.0
Ben Godfrey you magnificent beast, I'll say it again he's proper captain material. Flies through two defenders like a runaway train and shoots a bullet towards Lloris. A team of Ben Godfrey's wins matches.

badaids
Hate to tempt fate, but apart from the dickhead defending we are not playing too badly. Tom, Dukes and Richi making a nuisance of themselves and linking well. Godfrey also beasting it up. Btay

dunlopp9987
But for that boneheaded lapse on the goal, we've been really impressive. Obviously their goal plays a factor in that, as I don't think they drop off as much as they are if it's still 0-0, but still. We look good, all things considered

Bailey
This is now playing right into Spurs hands. Our midfielders will have the time to run the game but they have to look forward and on the half turn every time they get the ball. badaids
Zoo 2.0
Outstanding Olsen! Not as optimistic as some others on here, Spurs look rather comfortable IMO and are picking us off on the counter attack. Son would have made it 2-0 there had it not been for a great hand.
